Part 1 Research on MRI-STIR corresponding to CT with fracture in fresh osteoporotic vertebral compression fracturesObjective:To explore the relationship between MRI-STIR and the fracture fines of CT in fresh osteoporotic vertebral compression, providing clinical evidence for the judgment on Osteoporosis vertebral fracture prognosis. Methods:The study collected the patients of osteoporosis vertebral fractures from 2014-01-01 to 2014-09-30 in The First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi University Of Chinese Medicine.Conforming to the standard patients are 138 cases。There were 43 males and 95 females, and the average age was 71.4 years(range,63-104years),and the verage duration of 13.7 days(1d~21d).All the 154 cases of thoracolumbar vertebrae, lumbar vertebra:98 cases, thoracic vertebra : 56 cases. All cases of fresh osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures were divided into 3 groups according to the change image of MRI-STIR.Group A: a linear black signal area.Group B:non-homogenous high signal change.Group C: a homogenous high signal change. The types of fracture lines can be divided into insert type, split type and microfracture type.To summarize the relationship between MRI-STIR and the fracture fines of CT.Results:the change image of MRI-STIR can be divided into a linear black signal area 56,a homogenous high signal change 48 and non-homogenous high signal change 50.Using χ~2 statistical analysis:(1)corresponding to insert type of CT,A compared to the B,there was statistically significant difference between the two groups(χ~2=13.676,P=0.000 P<0.016).A compared to the C,there was statistically significant difference between the two groups(χ~2=24.060,P=0.000,P<0.016).B compared to the C,there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups(χ~2=1.576,P=0.290 P>0.016).In the aspect of positive,A group:69%,B group:33%,C group:22%.(2)corresponding to split type of CT,A compared to the B,there was statistically significant difference between the two groups(χ~2=5.922,P=0.015 P<0.016).A compared to the C,there was statistically significant difference between the two groups(χ~2=1.359,P=0.244 P>0.016).B compared to the C,there was statistically significant difference between the two groups(χ~2=11.911,P=0.001 P<0.016).In the aspect of positive,A group:23%,B group:46%,C group:14%.(3)corresponding to microfracture line of CT,A compared to the B,there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups(χ~2=4.542,P=0.033 P>0.016).A compared to the C,there was statistically significant difference between the two groups(χ~2=43.313,P=0.000 P<0.016).B compared to the C,there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups(χ~2=22.326,P=0.000 P<0.016).In the aspect of positive,A group:8%,B group:18%,C group:66%.Conclusion:There was the relationship of MRI-STIR to the fracture fines of CT in the in fresh osteoporotic vertebral compression.STIR black line on CT mainly display the signal to insert type.STIR non-homogenous high signal on CT mainly display the split type.STIR homogenous high signal on CT mainly display the microfracture type.Part 2 Research on the relationship between MRI-STIR and the nonunion of fresh osteoporotic vertebral compression fracturesObjective:To explore the relationship between MRI-STIR and the nonunion of fresh osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures, providing clinical evidence for the judgment on Osteoporosis vertebral fracture prognosis. Methods:The study collected the patients of osteoporosis vertebral fractures from in The First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi University Of Chinese Medicine and the Rui Kang of Guangxi University Of Chinese Medicine.Conforming to the standard patients are 52 cases。There were 11 males and 41 females, and the average age was 73 years(range,69-83years),and the verage duration of 15 days,.the average Final follow-up time was 8 months. All cases of fresh osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures were used in conservative treatment and were divided into 3 groups according to the change image of MRI-STIR.Group A: a linear black signal area.Group B:non-homogenous high signal change.Group C: a homogenous high signal change.Result:There were 24 vertebrals with a linear black signal area, the Number of vertebral healing were 3 and the healing rate was 12%.There were 25 vertebrals with a homogenous high signal change, the Number of vertebral healing were 16 and the healing rate was 64%.:There were 17 vertebrals with non-homogenous high signal change, the Number of vertebral healing were 15 and the healing rate was 88%.Using χ~2 statistical analysis:A compared to the B,there was statistically significant difference between the two groups(χ~2=13.680,P=0.000,P<0.05).A compared to the C,there was statistically significant difference between the two groups(χ~2=23.176,P=0.000 P<0.05).B compared to the C,there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups(χ~2=3.075,P=0.080 P>0.05)Conclusion:the signal change of MRI-STIR can predict vertebral fractures in prognosis.a linear black signal area of MRI-STIR indicate poorer prognosis of osteoporosis vertebral body fracture...
