Objective:Serum homocysteine(Hcy)is closely related to cardiovascular disease and is one of the risk factors for Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm(AAA),so we hypothesized that serum Hcy may be one of the risk factors for intracranial aneurysms. In this paper,by comparing the serum Hcy values of IA patients with healthy people at different times,it is possible to detect IA production early by detecting serum Hey values, and whether there is a change in serum Hey after surgery. To explore the correlation between serum Hey and IA and to provide a theoretical basis for further study of the role of Hey in the pathogenesis of IA.Methods:Participants:Patients who were diagnosed with IA at the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine from April 2014 to May 2017 were selected. In addition, health checkups were selected in our hospital at the same time.Group:(1)IA group:Digital subtraction angiography(DSA)after admission weas found in IA patients, according to the specific condition of intracranial aneurysm embolization or craniotomy, and the third month after surgery was re-admitted for re-examination;The patients:25 males and 51 females,a total of 76 patients;(2)Control group:selected healthy people who participated in the physical examination in our hospital during the same period, and screened out the people who participated in the physical examination again in our hospital in the third month after the physical examination. There were 36 males and 41 females with 77 females.Experimental methods:All subjects recorded history of smoking, history of drinking, history of hypertension, history of diabetes, and other related medical history. All patients in the IA group underwent DSA with parallel intracranial aneurysm embolization or craniotomy using the Philips AllUra Xper FD20/20 dual-plate digital angiography machine.Serum Hey within 3 days before DSA and serum Hey values at 3 months postoperatively were collected. The control group was tested for serum Hey on the day of the physical examination and serum Hey at the third month after the physical examination.Detection of serun Hcy levels using HITACHI 7600 automatic biochemical analyzer and DiaSys diagnostics Systems(Shanghai)Co.,Ltd.The data is processed using SPSS20.0 software. The Shapiro-Wilk test judged whether the two sets of data were normal distributed.Measurement data conforming to the normal distribution were expressed as mean ± standard deviation(x±s),measurement data were analyzed by independent sample t test, and comparison between groups of count data was performed by χ2 test. The skewed distribution data measurement data is represented by the interquartile range M(P25,P75),and the independent sample rank sum test is used between the count data.Further, multiple factors were used for two-class logistic regression analysis. Results:The initial serum Hey of the two groups was not normal distributed, and the age was normal distribution, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in the age, gender composition, history of diabetes, history of hypertension, history of smoking, and history of drinking between the two groups(P>0.05).The serum Hcy concentration in the IA group before surgery(physical examination)was[14.60(11.08,17.73)]μmol/L,which was significantly higher than that of the control group[11.20(9.20,14.15)]μmol/L.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in serum Hcy between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Elevated serum Hey is a risk indicator for intracranial aneurysm.Elevated serum Hcy may interact with other risk factors in the production of IA.
