Objective:This study is the analysis of matrix metalloproteinase2(MMP-2), matrixmetalloproteinase9(MMP-9) and inhibitor of matrix metalloproteinase1(TIMP-1)in patients with aneurysms of the plasma concentration changes associated withintracranial aneurysm morphology, size and other clinical features of the relationship,so as to explore them as screening indexes of early diagnosis of cerebral aneurysmpossible.Methods:Using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) method for quantitativedetection of preoperative and postoperative plasma MMP-2, MMP-9, TIMP-1concentrations in patients with Cerebral aneurysms(n=70),Which were from The FirstAffiliated Hospital of Nanchang University2010October to2011November andrandomly choosing18cases of normal human plasma and detection of its MMP-2,MMP-9, TIMP-1value.Results:In patients with aneurysms of plasma MMP-2, MMP-9, TIMP-1wassignificantly higher than that of normal people (P <0.01); Patients with rupturedaneurysm of plasma MMP-2, MMP-9, TIMP-1was significantly higher than that ofpatients with unruptured aneurysms (P <0.01); Patients with aneurysms of plasmaMMP-2, MMP-9, TIMP-1was positively correlated with aneurysm size, number andnot clinical correlated with patient age, gender, site, aneurysm morphology; PlasmaMMP-2, MMP-9, TIMP-1in patients with aneurysms (10<L+W <30mm) expresssignificantly higher than that of patients with aneurysms (0<L+W <10mm)(P <0.01), plasma MMP-2, MMP-9, TIMP-1in patients with multiple aneurysms expresssignificantly higher than that of patients with solitary aneurysm (P <0.01);Postoperative plasma levels of MMP-2in patients with unruptured aneurysms expresssignificantly lower than preoperative(P <0.01), postoperative plasma MMP-9 express lower than that of preoperative (P=0.031); In patients with rupturedaneurysm postoperative plasma levels of MMP-2, MMP-9expression wassignificantly lower than the preoperative(P <0.01); Postoperative and preoperativeplasma TIMP-1have differential expressions between patients with unruptured andrupture aneurysms.Conclusions:The plasma MMP-2, MMP-9, TIMP-1levels in the developing cerebralaneurysms, especially in patients with ruptured aneurysms increased obviously;Plasma MMP-2, MMP-9levels in patients with multiple and larger volumeaneurysms increased obviously; Postoperative plasma MMP-2, MMP-9expressionlevel decreased significantly than preoperative; The plasma MMP-2, MMP-9,TIMP-1is expected to become the screening of cerebral aneurysms index.
