The problem of human enhancement has been highlighted since the20 th century with the development of life science and technology.Due to the complexity of its research objects and the direction of human development in the future,it has been the focus and controversy of researchers at home and abroad. In recent years, with the social unrest, the security between the state and the country, and the deterioration of the global environment, people began to shift their eyes to “ morality ”,expecting technology to act on morality to make moral enhancement.Biomedical moral enhancement is the use of biomedical technology to enhance their moral motivation in accordance with their individual wishes, there by enhancing ethical behavior.Once this issue is raised,it has caused great repercussions at home and abroad, and there are many opponents of this view. They believe that this technology will not only destroy the natural state of the people themselves, but also bring a series of ethical disputes that are difficult to reconcile. The article first briefly introduces the background and reasons for biomedical moral enhancement, and then introduces the concept, content, and technical application of biomedical moral enhancement, including drug methods and non-drug methods such as DBS and gene enhancement. The second part of the article is the focus of this paper. It focuses on some of the moral issues raised by biomedical moral enhancement techniques, including the issue of technical security, the complexity of moral emotions, the issue of personality identity, and the violation of human free will.First, the use of technology has caused certain side effects, and the enhancement effect is also uncertain.Second, the emergence of moral issues is multifaceted, moral emotions are difficult to quantify, and non-moral emotions do not necessarily have to be completely negated.Third, arbitrarily changing an individual's moral feelings leads topersonality identity, which will,to a certain extent, cause a break in self-identity and a disintegration of social relationships.Fourth, the excessive use of technology has made human beings an accessory, reducing the space for human moral choice, the dominance of human beings no longer exists, and humanity has lost its essential subjectivity and freedom. The third part of the article first puts forward the ethical principles that should be followed when using the technology:One is the basic ethical principle, and the other is the applied ethical principle.Secondly,it puts forward specific countermeasures and suggestions:standardize the development and application of technology, strengthen the construction of laws and regulations, and strengthen the supervision of ethics. The fourth part of the article puts forward some challenges and reflections, and at the end, once again calls on people to adopt a cautious scientific attitude in the application of technological enhancement, and truly make technology benefit humanity.
