| The development of modern biomedical high tech has not only brought great changes to the world, but also created unprecedented bioethical challenges. Following the logical flow of philosophical thinking, which is"what, why, and how", this thesis did a systematic research in three aspects on the ethics of modern biomedical high tech.First, it described the ethical challenges that modern biomedical high tech faced, based on three major biotechnologies--genetics, assisted reproduction, and clone, especially the newest organ transplantation technology in the 21st century--facial allotransplantation.Second, it explored the causes for the challenges that modern biomedical high tech faced, the unilateralism of scientism and alienation of technology, the philosophical causes, and sociological cause is that the unprecedented socialization of modern technology has made the social relations of scientists more complicated, which led the scientists into ethical challenges and brought a series of social ethics problems. Finally, it set up the ethical principles for the development of modern biomedical high tech. From the causes for the ethical challenges that the modern biomedical high tech faced, three basic ethical principles were deduced and generalized: unity between the philosophical rationality and scientific rationality; people oriented humanity; universal collectiveness. Based on these three principles, specific measures were proposed to regulate the ethical behaviors of different social groups such as scientists, the general public, businesses and governments. |
