Youyou Xin Shu is a great book of Pediatrics in the Southern Song Dynasty. It has about one million words. It was compiled under Liu Fang’s chairmanship. The book quotes a lot of literature which before the Southern Song Dynasty. Some of the contents of the lost literature are preserved and circulated through the body of Youyou Xin Shu.It has high literature value. This paper makes a preliminary textual research on the cited documents of Youyou Xin Shu from the following aspects.Through the inquiry of relevant papers and works, the research on the author, finished book, edition, academic thought and achievement of Youyou Xin Shu has reached a certain degree of saturation. However, the combing and textual research of the cited literature of Youyou Xin Shuneeds further study.By using the methods of philology and statistics, the author makes a more in-depth study of the basic situation and specific content of the lost literature cited in Youyou Xin Shu.This paper makes a preliminary textual research on the lost documents cited in the Youyou Xin Shu from the following aspects1.The main work book of this paper is Ying Duoji’s handbook, and the others can be seen to improve the accuracy of the research.Check the quotation of "Qian Yi Fang" in "Youyou Xin Shu" with the current issue of "Xiao Er Yao Zheng Zhi Jue"(based on Qi Xiu Tang). The results show that the quotation in the preface of the book is credible, that is,it preserves some of the lost documents before the Southern Song Dynasty and is worth studying.Research.2.To sort out the lost documents cited in Youyou Xin Shu.First of all,the author explores the law of its text, mainly identifying the direct cited documents and the cited documents. The regularity of the order of the cited documents is helpful to document textual research.Secondly, after reviewing the whole book, sorting out the bibliographies of direct cited literature with volume number as the outline, and after investigating the different names of the same literature, sorting out the bibliographies of direct cited literature as the outline, there are 99 kinds of bibliographies.Thirdly, draw support from "General Catalogue of Ancient Chinese Medicine Books" and other books to determine the situation of the lost direct cited documents, and by way of examples, listing the current copies of the still published and compiled documents,in order to improve the accuracy of judgment. The results show that 20 kinds of documents are still published,7 kinds of documents have lost but have been combed, and 72 kinds of documents have lost and have on collection of duplicates.3.Explore the description of Volume 40 of Youyou Xin Shu.At that time, record after the book was rare to see,but Youyou Xin Shu has it,and it was not joined by later generations. However, the literature included could not cover all the documents cited in Youyou Xin Shu.After sorting out and confirming the literatures directly cited,by comparing the descriptions with the titles of the literatures listed in the order according to the citation rules of Youyou Xin Shu,it is found that they have a high consistency. Most of the literatures are not listed in the "Fangshu of the former generation",and there are obvious "broken marks" between the "Ge Shi Zhou Hou’ and the "Long Mu Lun" in the "Fangshu of the former generation",so the descriptions are incomplete or incomplete. The original book is out of simplicity. The exploration of cataloguing can assist the textual research of literature, especially provide precious information for the textual research of lost documents.4.Classification and comprehensive discussion of the lost documents.Combining with the characteristics of Youyou Xin Shu as a source of materials or as a medical book or as an effective method, the lost documents sorted out in this paper can be divided into two categories:the "lost documents without works" and the "lost ancient medical books".The former can be further divided into the "handed down by a family"and the "experienced prescriptions of doctors at the time",and the latter into the"scattered lost ancient medical books" and "Youyou Xin Shu can be regarded as the basic material for compilation",so as to highlight the internal differences between the lost documents.Because of its prominent clinical characteristics and few citations,"non-authorship" literature is not the focus of this paper. The dissenters of "lost ancient medical books" are not the focus of this paper’s next research because of their low frequency of citation and lack of textual research in historical records of past dynasties.Pediatric monographs with more contents are easy to be studied in depth.5.In the study of representative lost ancient medical books, the author takes Ying Ru Fang and Ying Tong Bao Jian as examples.Ying Ru Fang:Youyou Xin Shu contains more than 50,000 words of Ying Ru Fang, which is widely involved in various kinds of pediatric diseases.Firstly, based on the descriptions of past dynasties and the nouns of "Geshi Moxibustion Method",Hermit Prescription" and "DongjunPuyang" in "Ying Ru Fang",this paper speculates that the book was written in the early years of Daye in Sui Dynasty and the author has no textual research.Secondly, the source of the citation is listed.By examining its origin again, the author finds that Ying Ru Fang and Treatise on Cold Disease have similar content and style of writing.By comparing with the quoted literature of Yi Xin Fang,it can be seen that the content of Ying Ru Fang originated from the Northern and Southern Dynasties and previous literature, while Ge Shi Fang is more likely to be its direct source of literature. The author’s clinical practice is also one of the main sources of literature in this book, because there are many words such as "this has been tried and tested repeatedly" and "comparing with this medicine and saving people before and after".Before its spread to the Southern Song Dynasty,Ying Ru Fang appeared to be in the hands of private individuals, and Liu Fang get it from Xiangdan who is FuGan of Hunan.Since then,it has not been directly cited. The quotation of Ying Ru Fang from such books as Zheng ZhiZhun Sheng has been reproduced according to Youyou Xin Shu.Some of the contents of Ying Ru Fang have been circulated to this day.Its content is less rational, more medicines, and a little involved in acupuncture and moxibustion.According to some of the literature on acupuncture and moxibustion, such as moxibustion shou xin zhu jian shi",the author of Ying Ru Fang can recognize that the meaning of "moxibustion jing mai xue" refers to moxibustion of "Jing mai xue",together with the flexible use of "Treatise on Cold Disease",or it can be inferred that the author of Ying Ru Fang has a high theoretical literacy and is skilled in clinical practice.Ying Tong Bao Jian:Youyou Xin Shu contains more than 10,000 words of Ying Tong Bao Jian.It also covers a variety of common pediatric diseases,Written in the Song Dynasty, and its author,Qi Zhenzi,is also unquestionable.Ying Tong Bao Jian records the method of "distinguishing three brocade lines" in diagnostic methods. It elaborates on the symptoms and prognosis of "white flesh of the hand’s thenar" as well as the symptoms corresponding to the pulse color of the second finger of the hand.On the face, year and four tomb colors,it fully reflects the application of the method of"looking for color".Its basic theory is mostly the form of song recipe. This calligraphy is in line with classics, such as Huangdi’s Canon of Medicine and the Nanjing. And flexible use of five elements thinking;pay attention to judging the prognosis of life and death. The contents of traditional Chinese medicine and moxibustion in the lost articles are less.In this paper, the origin of Ying Tong Bao Jian is briefly demonstrated by using databases such as "Chinese Medical Code" and "e100 of Traditional Chinese Medicine".The lost articles in Ying Tong Bao Jian have detailed records in pediatric diagnosis, especially in the diagnosis of various diseases and deaths, which should not be neglected in pediatric clinic nowadays;their pill powder forms and methods should be used for reference;their use of moxibustion does not require needles, suggesting that attention should be paid to the application of acupuncture and moxibustion in pediatrics;and the written descriptions of a small number of acupoints indicate differences in the location of acupoints in the past, provide more information that points to the right direction6.Firstly,according to the actual characteristics of "Youyou Xin Shu" which quotes both the experience of traditional Chinese medicine and ancient medical books, this paper discusses the research process of the classification of the lost documents in this book. After repeatedly blending the classification method with the many lost documents quoted in "Youyou Xin Shu",it transits from the original classification method of "formerly prescribed books, modern prescriptions,scholar-bureaucrat handed down prescriptions" to the classification method used in the text,so as to show the research ideas.Secondly, the author combines Liang Qichao’s Academic History of China in the Past Three Hundreds Years to discuss the relevant issues such as the criterion of "compiling lost books".The author tries to compile lost books on the basis of the original appearance, not tire of many articles, and most of them must be true.He also points out that the three books of "Ying Ru Fang","Ying Tong Bao Jian" and"Zhang Huan fang" have more articles and have certain academic characteristics, which can be carried out on the basis of the existing articles of "Youyou Xin Shu".In summary, there are many references cited in Youyou Xin Shu,and many of them are now lost. This paper attempts to systematically sort out the references cited in Youyou Xin Shu from a more comprehensive, clearer and more specific point of view, sort out the lost documents, make a preliminary textual research on the lost documents, and further explore the representative lost documents, such as Ying Ru Fang and Ying Tong Bao Jian, starting from the author and the time when the book was written, discusses its academic origin, academic characteristics and academic value by means of textual comparison and other research methods. In this way,the literature value of Youyou Xin Shu can be effectively displayed. At the same time, some documents lost but still exist, which is one of the inheritance phenomena of ancient documents. It has certain literature value and academic value and is worth studying. Its clinical value also needs to be further explored.
