Clinical Application Of Visualization Foraminoplasty In Treatment Of Partial Lumbar Degenerative Diseases With Endoscopic Surgery

Objective To explore the clinical application value of visualization foraminoplasty in treatment of lumbar degenerative diseases with endoscopic surgery.Methods A total of 41 cases of calcified disc herniation(19 cases in TESSYS group,22 cases in visualization group)and 65 cases of lateral recess stenosis(31 cases in the TESSYS group and 34 cases in the visualization group)were collected from our hospital from February 2016 to March 2018.In different diseases,the gender,age,lesion segment intraoperative C-arm fluoroscopy,operation time,surgery-related complications and clinical effects were compared between the two groups.At the follow-up time,visual analog scale scores(VAS)were used for low back pain and leg pain.At the final follow-up,the clinical curative effect was evaluated using the Macnab efficacy evaluation criteria.In the case of calcified discs,the angle of the straight leg raising test of the limbs before and after surgery was compared between the two groups.Results There was no significant difference in gender,age,and diseased segments between the two groups(P>0.05).The number of fluoroscopy and operation time in the visualization group were significantly lower than those in the TESSYS group(P<0.05).The VAS scores of low back pain and leg pain after operation in both groups were significantly than before surgery(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the VAS scores of low back pain and leg pain between the two groups before and after operation(P>0.05).According to the Macnab efficacy evaluation standard,there was no statistical difference in the excellent and good rate between the two groups at the final followup(P>0.05).In the cases of calcified disc herniation the angle of the leg straight leg elevation test was significantly increased in the two groups(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference between the two groups before and after operation(P>0.05).Conclusion The short-term clinical efficacy of visual foraminoplasty in treatment of lumbar degenerative diseases is comparable to that of the standard TESSYS technique.Visual foraminoplasty has less intraoperative fluoroscopy times,simplified procedure,and shorter operation time,safety,and low interference with lumbar joint stability.
