| ObjectiveTo observe the clinical effects and economic cost between ultrasound-guided injection therapy and traditional chinese medicine about cupping,acupuncture,electro-acupuncture and ear points combination in the treatment of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy, and to explore the cost-effectiveness of these two methods,In order to provide an experience and reference for the selection of clinical strategies for the disease.MethodsUsing the observational study method,35 patients who met the inclusion criteria were selected from the ultrasound-guided injection therapy and the traditional Chinese medicine treatment, respectively, and were included in the injection treatment group(group I)and the traditional Chinese medicine group(group T).The date of effective rate,VAS score,Yasuhisa tanaka score before and af ter treatment, treatment cost, recurrence rate within three months, satisfaction, treat ment orientat ion, adverse reactions and compl i cat ions were recorded.IBMSPSS 22.0 software packages were used.Independent:sample t test was used for measurement data satisfying normal distribution, rank sum test was used for skewed distribution data, and χ2 test was used for difference comparison between counting data sets.P<0.05 is considered statistically significant.Results1.General information:1 patient was absent,34 patients in the group I,with 35 in the group T.There was no significant difference in gender, age and disease duration between these two groups(P>0.05);2.Clinical efficacy:5 cases were cured in the group Ⅰ,17 cases were markedly effective,10 cases were effective,2 cases were ineffective, the total effective rate was 94%,6 cases were cured in the group T,13 cases were markedly effective,8 cases were effective,8 cases were ineffective, and the total effective rate was 77%,the difference between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05);3.Change of VAS score and the Yasuhisa tanaka score in the two groups:The VAS scores were lower than before. The median after treatment was 3 in the group I,6 before treatment, and the median after treatment was 3 in the group T,6 before treatment, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the Yasuhisa tanaka score after treatment were increased than previous. The median after treatment was 17 in the group I,13 before treatment, with the median after treatment was 18 in the group T,14 before treatment, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);4.Treatment cost:The cost-effectiveness ratio of the group I for treatment of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy was 2202.13 yuan/person,which was lower than that of group T treatment of 2558.44 yuan/person.The treatment time and frequency of the group I were lower than the group T.With the group I has a lower cost-effectiveness ratio than the group T,which was more in line with economic requirements;5.Recurrence rate within 3 months, satisfaction and propensity in the two groups:34 patients in the group I,6 patients had recurred, the recurrence rate was 17.6%,35 patients in the group T,28 patients had recurred, and the recurrence rate was 80%.The recurrence rate within three months of the group I was significantly lower than that of the group T(P<0.05);30 patients in the group I were satisfied,4 patients were unsatisfied, the satisfaction rate was 88%,27 patients in the group T were satisfied,8 patients were unsatisfied, and the satisfaction rate was 78%.The difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).The patient’ s treatment tendency were compared,15%in the group I and 91%in the group T,indicating that the patient received a higher degree of traditional Chinese medicine treatment, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);6.Adverse reactions and complications:There were no adverse reactions and complications in the group I and the group T,and the safety was high.ConclusionBoth ultrasound-guided injection therapy and traditional Chinese medicine treatment have good efficacy for treatment cervical spondylotic radiculopathy but ultrasound-guided injection has better therapeutic effect, lower cost-effectiveness ratio and lower recurrence rate, which may be a better solution. |
