ObjectiveThis study is based on the Shenqu adjustment theory of professor Zhiy unBo.Patients with acute gastrointestinal injury of sepsis were treated with abdominal acupuncture on the basis of conventional western medicine. To evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of abdominal acupuncture tre atment,By observe the change of APACHE II score(acute physiology and chro nic health evaluation),AGI grading(acute gastrointestinal injury classifi cation),inflammation markers and gastrointestinal function markers, and af ter intervention in patients with gastrointestinal function was observed. The purpose of this study is to provide a preliminary plan for the treatm ent of acute gastrointestinal injury caused by sepsis, provide evidence-ba sed medical evidence, and expand the scope of clinical application of abdo minal acupuncture.MethodsThis study is a prospective, randomized, control led clinical trial.A to tal of 55 patients with acute gastrointestinal injury due to sepsis admit ted to the ICU(intensive care unit)of Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Chinese medicine from May 2018 to February 2019 were included. They were r andomly divided into the experimental group and the control group, and 27 patients in the experimental group and 28 patients in the control group w ere finally included. Both groups were treated in accordance with sepsis 3.0 treatment regimen, and the experimental group was treated with abdominal acupuncture on the basis of this regimen, with a course of 5 days.Observa tion index were the treatment before and after 5 days of APACHE II score,PCT(proealcitonin),CRP(C-reactive protein),MOT(motilin),GAS(gastrin),bowe 1 sounds,IAP(intra-abdominal pressure),AGI grading, stomach intestine dys function score, gastrointestinal diseases of TCM symptom scores and 28 day s mortality.SPSS 20.0 software was used for statistical analysis, and the test level was 0.05.When P<0.05,the difference was statistically signific ant.Results1.The baseline data:Two groups of patients with gender, age, and the tr eatment before the APACHE ? score,PCT,CRP,MOT,GAS,bowel sounds,IAP,AGIg rading, stomach intestine dysfunction score, gastrointestinal diseases of T CM symptom scores difference has no statistical significance(P>0.05),comp arable.2.The comparison of disease severity and prognosis:There was no stati stically significant difference of APACHE ? score and 28 days mortality,w hich in two groups after treatment(P>0.05).3.The comparison of inflammatory indicators:Compared with the control group, the PCT level of the experimental group after treatment decreased significantly(P<0.05),but the CRP level was not significantly different(P>0.05).4.The comparison of gastrointestinal function indicators:Compared wit h the control group,MOT,GAS and IAP levels in the experimental group decr eased significantly after treatment(P<0.05),bowel sounds frequency incr eased significantly(P<0.05),AGI grading, stomach intestine dysfunction sc ore, gastrointestinal diseases of TCM symptom scores decreased significant ly(P<0.05).5.Safety evaluation:no adverse reactions related to abdominal acupun cture were observed during the treatment and observation period.ConclusionIn the treatment of patients with acute gastrointestinal injury due to sepsis, conventional western medicine combined with abdominal acupuncture can improve gastrointestinal symptoms, promote the recovery of gastrointestinal function, and avoid further gastrointestinal function damage, but the improvement of inflammatory indicators is not obvious, and cannot reduce the severity and mortality of the disease.
