Objective:The nasolabial characteristics of patients with unilateral complete cleft lip before and 2 weeks after surgery were measured by direct measurement and three-dimensional scanning technology. To observe the restoration of the symmetry of the postoperative nasolabial structure of the patients, and to provide a reference for the evaluation of the postoperative effect of cleft lip,and through the comparison and analysis with the direct measurement method, the clinical application of three-dimensional scanning was preliminarily discussed. The nasolabial characteristics of the patients were directly measured up to 1 year after the operation, and the short-term development of the nasolabial part and the improvement of the continuity of the labial arch were observed,so as to provide reference for the correction of later deformity.Materials and methods:Thirty-seven patients with cleft lip(?°)treated in our department from December 2016 to December 2018 were selected.Based on the research contents of head and face measurement by Farkas et al.,11 measurement markers were selected and 11 measurement items(9 symmetrical items and 2asymmetric items)were measured by direct measurement method and 3d scanning. All patients were followed up,and photos were taken.9 items of measurement(all symmetrical items)were measured by direct measurement method in 20 patients who were followed up to 1 year.Result :1.Through the analysis of the data obtained by direct measurement method,it was found that the differences between the healthy and the sick side of the children with cleft lip before and after surgery were narrowed, and the symmetry of the healthy and sick side, the continuity of the labial arch and the symmetry of both sides of the nostril were well restored.Statistical analysis of the 11 measurement items was significant.9 items were directly measured one year after the surgery.Through comparison,it was found that the width of the nostril, the distance between the lip peak and the nasal columella, the width of the nasal floor, and the distance between the lip peak and the cheilion, and the length of the philtral column, and he distance between thealare and the cheilion were not statistically significant, while the height of the nostril, the height of the columella and the between the alare and the Lip peak were statistically significant.2.Use 3 d scanner on 37 cases of unilateral cleft lip(? °)on patients with facial scanning, preoperative and postoperative patients with facial form data, import it into reverse engineering software Geomagic Studio 13.0 in reconstruction and measurement data.Statistical test was performed on the obtained data, and the 11 measurement indexes had statistical significance.Compared with the data obtained by direct measurement method, there was no statistical difference, indicating that the data obtained by 3d scanning technology were real and reliable, which could meet the needs of postoperative effect evaluation. And 3 d scanning can quickly and accurately to complete the reconstruction of the children with facial form, and can be done in software of facial landmark calibration, measurement of the distance between the landmark, the proof can on this basis, establish a new method to evaluate unilateral cleft lip repair of postoperative results, for the application of 3 d scanning in children with cleft lip provide certain guidance.conclusion:Through measurement and statistics,it was found that the differences in postoperative nasolabial characteristics between healthy and affected sides were significantly reduced, nasolabial symmetry was well restored, orbicularis oris muscle continuity and motor function were restored, and the differences in bilateral nostril were significantly improved. After 1 year of postoperative measurement,it was found that there was no statistical significance in the width of the nostril, the distance between the lip peak and the nasal columella, the width of the nasal floor, and the distance between the lip peak and the cheilion, and the length of the philtral column, and he distance between the alare and the cheilion, indicating that there was no significant difference between the affected side and the uninjured sides. With the development of the children, the differences between the healthy and the affected sides were narrowed, and the self-correction trend was observed in the short term. However, the height of the nostril, the height of the columella and the between the alare and the Lip peak had statistical significance, which was related to the fact that the nasal deformity was not repaired during the first stage surgery of the cleft lip. However, the difference between the two cases was not significant, showing a trend of convergence, and the correction of the nasaldeformity could be carried out when appropriate..The application of 3d scanner combined with reverse engineering software can be used to complete the reconstruction of the child's facial form, and can complete the calibration of the facial marking point and the measurement of the point spacing of the established mark, and establish a new method of evaluating the effect of unilateral cleft lip cleft, which is objective, accurate and operational, and is subject to promotion.
