Breast disease refers to diseases that occur in the breast,including mammary gland hyperplasia,acute mastitis,breast malignancy,breast fibroids,plasma cell mastitis,granulomatous mastitis,abnormal breast development,etc.,mainly found in women.In recent years,the incidence of breast disease has shown a significant upward trend,and its manifestations are diverse,which has a serious impact not only on women's quality of life,but also on physical and mental health.In traditional Chinese medicine,breast disease belongs to the category of ancient "cancer".There is no independent book in the ancient literature to record the disease.The records of breast diseases by doctors of previous generations are scattered in some comprehensive or gynecological medical books.Most of the records confounding or not totally accurate.However,for the treatment of breast diseases,Chinese medicine has a unique curative effect,and has considerable advantages compared with modern medicine.The prospect of Chinese medicine breast disease is gratifying.Professor Lihua Lou has carried out many pioneering work in the field of traditional Chinese medicine for breast disease.Her academic thoughts can be summarized as "four identification diseases,Wentong treatment,three machines adjustment,and righting up anti-cancer".These academic thoughts bring positive guidance respectively for diagnosis,inflammatory breast disease,breast proliferative diseases,and breast malignancies.As to explore the rich experience of Professor Lou Lihua in treating breast diseases,this article searches and sorts out the understanding and treatment thoughts of breast cancer patients in previous generations,and combines with the analysis of clinical actual cases and the experience of drug use.Meanwhile,this article explores the thoughts and methods which study and inherit famous doctors of Chinese medicine.The ultimate goal is to provide a reference for the system of Chinese medicine treatment of breast disease.
