Purpose:In order to further understand the influence of children's parents on the attitude of domestic vaccines and the willingness to immunize vaccines after the Shandong vaccine incident, through questionnaires and research, from the perspective of children's parents, the children's parents' contact with Shandong vaccine events and vaccine events were studied. The extent of understanding;the attitude of parents of children to domestic vaccines and the willingness to conduct domestic vaccination after the Shandong vaccine incident.According to relevant data, the factors influencing the vaccination intention of children in the vaccine event were analyzed and summarized, which provided a reference for scientific prevention and control of sudden public health events in the future. Methods:By consulting relevant literature, the questionnaire was designed. The questionnaire mainly includes:the general situation of the respondents(age, gender, occupation, education level, etc.),the degree of knowledge about the Shandong vaccine incident, and the commonly used tools and channels for obtaining information on Shandong vaccine events.23 questions about vaccine events and trust in domestic vaccines and intent to choose domestic vaccines.Questionnaires are distributed on-site by a unified and trained investigator and are collected in a unified manner. The data for this study was derived from a cross-sectional survey conducted in April 2016 in Hangzhou,Zhejiang,China. With a population of about 60 million,Zhejiang is one of the provinces most affected by the vaccine scandal. The survey first selected two areas with good cooperation in the eight districts of Hangzhou by the intentional sampling, namely Xihu District and Binjiang District respectively.Secondly, two kindergartens and two randomly selected from the two districts extracted.Community health centers; Finally,a cluster sampling method was used to conduct a questionnaire survey of parents of two kindergartens and parents of children visiting two community health centers. In the waiting area of the community health center,a questionnaire survey is conducted on the parents of children aged 0-3 who take the child to vaccinate or check. If both parents are present, only one of them will be invited to fill out the questionnaire.Grandparents, grandparents and other relatives cannot fill out the questionnaire.During the survey,621 children were interviewed at the two centers, and 373 valid questionnaires were collected, with a response rate of 60.1%.Questionnaires were conducted in kindergartens for parents of children aged 4-6.The kindergarten teacher will issue an envelope containing the questionnaire and informed consent to the student, and the student will take the envelope home and ask one of the parents to fill in.The questionnaire and informed consent will be brought back the next day.If the student does not bring back the next day,the teacher will remind the student who did not bring back.A total of 1438 valid questionnaires were collected, with a response rate of 95.4%.The study was reviewed and approved by the Zhejiang University School of Public Health. After checking all the questionnaires,Epidata 3.1 was used to establish a database for double data entry check.Descriptive statistical analysis, weighted frequency, and percentage representation were used for each problem. The difference between variables was tested by ?2 test. The binary logistic regression analysis was used to further clarify the factors affecting the trust of children in Shandong and the willingness to inoculate domestic vaccines. The entire statistical analysis process was completed using statistical software SPSS 19.0.Results:The basic situation of 1811 parents who responded effectively is as follows:Gender, age:The majority of women surveyed(71.94%),the majority of the survey population between 31-39y(71.2%),the age of the children of the survey, the parents of 4-6 years old accounted for 83.71%,Parents of children aged 0-3 years old accounted for 16.29%;Education:The number of respondents with a bachelor's degree is the highest, accounting for 43.73%;the second is a college degree, accounting for 24.29%of the total,The high school or secondary school is 21.42%,the graduate degree or above is 10.54%;New media and networks are the main routes of transmission for the vaccine, the top three are WeChat(51.6%),online forums(13.8%),television(13.7%),newspapers(2.6%),and broadcasts(2.7%).The proportion of QQ is only 4.4%;The awareness rate of Vaccine Events in Shandong was 100%,73%of the children's parents searched for relevant reports, and 34.8%of the children's parents forwarded relevant reports,of which 31.1%were forwarded through WeChat. The parents of the vaccine incident were described in three words. The highest weights were "regulation","bad","shock","anger" and "responsibility".Considering that "the vaccine in this incident is a harmful vaccine" is nearly half, accounting for 49.8%;that "the vaccine in this incident is a poor quality vaccine"accounted for 21.6%;and that "the vaccine in this incident is harmless",but the failure" accounted for 28.7%.40.5%of the parents believe that the "responsibility department of this incident" is mainly the Center for Disease Prevention and Control, and 39.5%of the parents believe that the responsible department is mainly the Food and Drug Administration, and 15.7%of the parents believe that the responsible department is mainly the vaccine manufacturer.59.6%of the parents "have not heard the local epidemic prevention station publicizing the incident",70.4%of the parents said that it is difficult to receive correct and comprehensive information.50.9%of the parents of the children think that "the relevant knowledge is not easy understanding".The survey found that only 11.4%of parents still feel confident and trust domestic vaccines after the vaccine incident, and 61.1%of parents will continue to choose domestic vaccines.Binary logistic regression analysis was used to determine the factors affecting the trust of children's parents and the willingness to choose domestic vaccines. The results showed that the factors affecting the trust of children's parents in domestic vaccines were:parents of children aged 4-6 years had lower trust in domestic vaccines.(or=0.65,95%ci[0.48-0.90]),undergraduate students(or=0.59,95%ci[0.39-0.92])and graduate education(or=0.44,95%ci[0.26-0.83])than parents of low-education children It is even more impossible to trust domestic vaccines;it is believed that the children of the CDC(or=0.403,95%ci[0.30-0.54])and the Food and Drug Administration(or=0.235,95%ci[0.10-0.53])have less information about domestically produced Vaccines, parents who have difficulty understanding the Vaccine Events(or=2.870,95%ci[1.72-4.80])are less likely to trust domestic vaccines, parents of children who are not easy to understand vaccine information and knowledge(or=2.041,95%ci[1.36]-3.06])and parents of children who did not participate in vaccine-related publicity and education(or=0.403,95%ci[0.30-0.54])are less likely to trust domestic vaccines. The factors affecting the choice of children's parents to use domestic vaccines are:parents of children aged 4-6 years(or=0.64,95%ci[0.45-0.90])have fewer choices for domestic vaccines, and believe that parents of children who publish information by the Food and Drug Administration It is less likely to choose domestic vaccines(or=0.394,95%ci[0.27-0.58]),and it is even less likely for parents of children who have difficulty understanding vaccine information and knowledge to vaccinate domestic vaccines(or=1.603,95%ci[1.17-2.19]).Conclusion:According to the results of this study,we found that the Shandong vaccine incident has far-reaching impact. The awareness rate of Hangzhou children's parents is 100%.Most parents of children understand relevant reports through online media, especially WeChat, and most of these children's parents were forwarded these reports. After the Shandong vaccine incident, parents of children in Hangzhou have low trust in domestic vaccines.Only a few parents of children still feel confident and trust domestic vaccines after the vaccine incident. However, most parents of children still choose whether to apply domestic vaccine data.Choose to use domestic vaccines. After binary logistic regression analysis, parents of children aged 4-6,parents of children who believe that the Disease Prevention and Control Center and the Food and Drug Administration have released information, and parents of children who have difficulty in understanding the comprehensive information of vaccine events are less likely to trust andpreferreddomestic vaccines;Parents of children with undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications, parents who see the vaccine information and knowledge are not easy to understand, are trust domestic vaccines. Therefore, the health administrative department should pay attention to and adapt to the propaganda mode under the new media, strengthen the public vaccination knowledge and vaccine-related knowledge education, and minimize the negative impact of vaccine-related events on vaccination.Government regulatory authorities should learn from the lessons, improve the regulatory system, and implement regulatory responsibilities for vaccine production, circulation, and vaccination to avoid similar incidents.
