ObjectiveInvestigation and cause analysis of medication adherence in hypertensive patients.Study on the effect of Solution-focused Approach in medication adherence for hypertensive patients health education.MethodThe research object in Jingmen community health service center were selected by using the convenience sampling method.81 patients were randomly assigned to the control group or the experimental group which met the inclusion criteria.the control group had health education by routine method with 41 patients,the experimental group had health education by solution-focused approach based on routine health education.The intervention effect was evaluated by the Morisky-4 medication adherence scale and the MASES scale.Results(1)Forgetting to take medicine is the main reason of poor medication adherence which is 71.62%.the proportion of drug withdrawal due to improvement of symptoms is 52.7%,the proportion of careless at times about taking medication is 48.65%,the proportion of drug withdrawal due to worse symptoms is 9.46%.(2)There is no significant difference in the scores of medication adherence after 1 mouth of intervention(P>0.05).There are significant differences in medication adherence between the two groups after 2 mouths of intervention(P<0.05).The scores of the experimental group are significantly higher than the control group.(3)There is no significant difference in the scores of medication adherence self—efficacy after 1 mouth of intervention(P>0.05).There are significant differences in medication adherence self—efficacy between the two groups after 2 mouths of intervention(P<0.05).The scores of the experimental group are significantly higher than the control group.Conclusion(1)the reason of poor medication adherence in orderly is forgetting to take medicine,drug withdrawal due to improvement of symptoms,careless at times about taking medication,drug withdrawal due to worse symptoms.(2)The health education by solution-focused approach can improve the medication adherence and the medication adherence self-efficacy.(3)Based on solution-focused of health education for patients with medication adherence and medication adherence self-efficacy(4 weeks),the effect is not obvious in the short term,long term(more than 8 weeks)may appear obvious effect.
