Objective:To explore the feasibility of 3D printing technology in the clinical application of orbital fracture repair, and to observe and analyze the efficacy of early and late surgery in traumatic fractures, and to provide conditions for the optimal operation timing of 3D printing technique in orbital fracture repair.Preclinical studies were also performed for the direct fabrication of 3D printed corpus callosum implants. Methods:From October 2017 to October 2018,in the First People's Hospital of Chenzhou City, the clinical data of patients who were admitted to our hospital due to tibia fractures were treated with 3D printing technology. The total number of patients with orbital fractures was 10(10 eyes).According to the time of orbital fracture repair surgery, the operation time was divided into two groups(early operation group and late operation group),5 cases(5 eyes)in the early operation group and 5 cases(5 eyes)in the late operation group. All patients were preoperatively(by 3D printing).Model reconstruction parameters required)CT scan of the eyelid and 3D CT examination of the maxillofacial region, collect the raw data of the CT scan of the patient, use the 3D printing technology software to make the fracture model and the mirror model, and print a 1:1 scale model to assist the operation. The best corrected visual acuity and diplopia elimination were observed before operation,1 week,3 months and 6 months after operation. The changes of eyeball protrusion and eyelid volume before operation, intraoperative and postoperative were compared between the two groups. The operation time of the group, the disposable implantation rate of the pre-shaped titanium mesh, postoperative satisfaction and complications.Results:1.The percentage of best corrected visual acuity improved in the early operation group was greater in the late operation group, but there was no statistically significant difference in postoperative visual acuity between the two groups(P>0.05).2.The difference of prognosis between the two groups was 1w,3m and 6m.The cure rate of diplopia in the early operation group was greater than that in the advanced operation group, but the results showed that the two groups were 1w,3m after operation. There was no significant difference in the prognosis of 6m(P>0.05).3.The differences of preoperative and postoperative ocular protrusions between the two groups were compared. The difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).However,the difference in postoperative ocular protrusion between the two groups was statistically different from that before surgery.Academic significance(P<0.05).4.There was no significant difference in the difference of orbital volume between the two groups before and after operation(P>0.05).However,the difference in postoperative eyelid volume between the two groups was statistically significant.(P<0.05).5.The mean time of operation in the early operation group was(56.57±15.21)min,and the mean time of operation in the late operation group was(70.64±18.13)min.The late operation group took longer than the early operation group, but between the two groups. The difference in operative time was not statistically significant(P>0.05).6.The postoperative satisfaction of the early surgery group was 80%.The postoperative satisfaction of the late surgery group was 40%.7.In the early operation group,4 cases(80%)were pre-formed with pre-shaped titanium mesh during operation, and 1 case(20%)was implanted in the advanced operation group with pre-formed titanium mesh. The rate of one-time implantation was statistically significant(P<0.05).8.No serious complications occurred in both groups after surgery.Conclusion:1.Using 3D printing technology to assist eyelid fracture repair is an effective way to treat orbital fractures.2.using 3D printing technology to assist the orbital fracture repair to achieve accurate and safe implantation of pre-shaped titanium mesh corpus, shortening the operation time,is conducive to reducing infection,is conducive to reducing the risk of surgery, avoid secondary surgery injury, less complications Combine the advantages of other combined trauma surgery at the same time.3.using 3D printing technology to assist the two groups of eyelid fracture repair(early, late),early effect is better than the late surgery group, the medium and long-term effect evaluation indicators are no significant difference.Expanding the early surgical hand is beneficial to the surgical outcome and the patient, given the patient's condition. The application of 3D printing technology has created conditions for the indication of early surgery.4.using 3D printing technology to assist the orbital fracture repair surgery, has a broad research and exploration space, looking forward to the era of direct use of implantable materials to print and repair the carcass.
