A Clinical Efficacy Observation Of Fang's Scalp Acupuncture And Body Acupuncture To Treat Insomnia Of Dual Deficiency Of Heart And Spleen

ObjectiveThough comparing with the routine acupuncture therapy,to observe the curative effect difference in treating insomnia of dual deficiency of heart and spleen.This research aimed to probe into the mechanism of Fang' s scalp acupuncture and body acupuncture therapy in treating insomnia of dual deficiency of heart and spleen,and to discuss the advantage of two method.Meanwhile,provide a effective treatment in treatment of insomnia of dual deficiency of heart and spleen and develop the usage of Fang' s scalp acupuncture.Methods60 cases in the research are from the department of Acupuncture clinic of First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of TCM and the second Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital of Guangzhou Province in 2018.According with the standard of the research all cases was randomized into two group,treatment group(using Fang' s scalp acupuncture and body acupuncture)and control group(using routine acupuncture therapy),each group with 30 cases.In this research all patients were required to receive 12 times treatments aggregately.Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)and Self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)were used to evaluate the quality of sleep and the anxiety emotion in beginning and finish of the treatment.And after all treatment the total clinical curative effects of two therapy were estimated.All the data from the research was analyzed by SPSS19.0.Results1.The baseline characteristic(gender,age,course,total score and integral of PSQI,SAS score)was comparison before treatment,indicating that there was no difference between two groups(P>0.05).2.After 2 course of treatments analyze the total score and integral of PSQI and the total score of SAS by inter-group and intra-group comparison.By intra-group comparison,after 12 treatments the total score and integral of PSQI and SAS score were lower than those at the beginning,and those data were statistically comparable(P<0.05),indicating that two therapies were effective in improving sleep quality and alleviating the anxiety.By inter-group comparison,after 2 course of treatment,the total score of PSQI and SAS and second factor related to sleep latency in PSQI in the treatment group decreased more significantly than those in the control group,and those data also statistically comparable,which suggested that Fang ' s scalp acupuncture and body acupuncture is better than routine acupuncture in improving sleep quality and alleviating the anxiety.3.Evaluating the total clinical curative effects of two group:the total clinical curative effect rate of treatment group was 90.0%,and the other group was 66.7%.This result suggested that Fang' s scalp acupuncture and body acupuncture used in treatment group has better clinical curative effect than routine acupuncture used in control group.ConclusionFang's scalp acupuncture and body acupuncture has a better clinical curative effect than routine acupuncture therapy in treating insomnia of dual deficiency of heart and spleen,especially in improving sleep latency,and the therapy used in treatment group worth a better clinical application.
