Observation On The Efficient Of Acupoint Catgut Embedment At Local-points And Back-shu Points In Treating Poststroke Dysphagia

Objective:This study was to observe the clinical therapeutic effect of Acupoint Catgut Embedment at Back-shu point And Local-points in treating poststroke dysphagia..Moreover,it could provide clinical and theoretical evidence of Acupoint Catgut Embedment treatment of this disease,and provide more simple and effective method to help patients who have poststroke dysphagia.MethodsSixty cases of patient with poststroke dysphagia from rehabilitation department in The Chinese Medicine Hospital in zhongshan was randomly divided into treating group and control group,30 cases each group.All patients were corresponding to diagnosis standards of poststroke dysphagia,and treated with conventional theraphy,including of control blood pressure and blood sugar,lipid regulation,antiplatelet aggregation,improving microcirculation neuro nutrition,and so on.The treatment group accepted the treatment of Acupoint Catgut Embedment while the control group accepted the treatment of electric acupuncture(the acupoints were based on Acumox Therapeutics).The patients in treating group were treated once a week for 4 weeks.And the control group were treated five time a week for 4 weeks.After 4 weeks all patient's clinical effects were evaluated by tins water frog experiment and swallowing function status classification,the data of the two groups would be analyzed by method of statistics.ResultsCompared with the control group(73.3%),the treatment group had a better total effective rate(80.0%)on swallowing function,but the result have no statistics significance(P>0.05).Both of two group had a goodresults,and the two group in sub-water test score,dysphagia grade are similar(P>0.05).however,the treatment group had a higher score in BMI score than control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).ConclusionAcupoint Catgut Embedment at Local-points And Back-shu points is a safe and effective treatment for Poststroke sysphagia,and it had similar efficacy compared with electric acupuncture treatment,but the treatment group had a better the overall effect on those patients.
