Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Postpartum Low Back Pain Of Blood Stasis Type By Moxibustion Of Sihua Point With Wheat Grains

ObjectiveIn this study,a small sample randomized controlled experiment was conducted.Routine needling was used as control group,while routine needling combined with wheat grain moxibustion at Sihua Point was used as treatment group.By observing the changes of VAS pain index and Oswestry dysfunction index before and after treatment,the clinical efficacy of wheat grain moxibustion at Sihua Point in the treatment of postpartum low back pain of blood stasis type was explored,so as to carry out acupuncture therapy for postpartum low back pain of blood stasis type.For more clinical research data,wheat grain moxibustion in the treatment of pain can be expanded.MethodsThe cases collected in this study were from the outpatient department of Acupuncture and Moxibustion Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.According to the 10%drop-out budget,66 patients were selected strictly according to the diagnostic criteria,inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria on the premise of signing the informed consent.They were randomly divided into treatment group and control group according to 1:1,33 cases in each group.The control group was given routine acupuncture(Shenshu,Daiyu,Weizhong).The treatment group was treated with wheat Granule Moxibustion on the basis of the control group,once a week on Tuesday,Thursday and Sixth,two courses of treatment,a total of 12 times.By observing the changes of VAS pain index and Oswestry dysfunction index before and after treatment in the two groups,the clinical efficacy of wheat-grain moxibustion at Sihua acupoint for postpartum low back pain of blood stasis type was explored.Results1.There was no significant difference in baseline data such as sex,age,course of disease,VAS score and Oswestry dysfunction index between the two groups before treatment(P<0.05),It's showed that two groups are comparable.2.The VAS score of the two groups after treatment was significantly different from that before treatment(P<0.05),and the curative effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),suggesting that the treatment group was more effective than the control group in alleviating postpartum low back pain of blood stasis type.3.Oswestry dysfunction index of the two groups after treatment was significantly different from that before treatment(P<0.05),and the curative effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),suggesting that the treatment group was more effective than the control group in alleviating postpartum low back pain of blood stasis type and improving the quality of life.4.Clinical observation before and after treatment showed that there was a certain difference in the clinical efficacy between the two groups after treatment,suggesting that wheat Granule Moxibustion at Sihua point has a certain effect on postpartum low back pain of blood stasis type.ComclusionMoxibustion of Sihua acupoint with wheat granules has certain curative effect on postpartum low back pain of blood stasis type.It can improve the pain symptoms and quality of life of postpartum low back pain of blood stasis type better than simple acupuncture after combined with routine acupuncture,which is worthy of clinical reference.
