Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Postpartum Cold Dampness Nonspecific Low Back Pain By Acupuncture At Heyang And Fuyang

ObjectiveThis paper aims to observe the therapeutic effect of acupuncture on the group acupoints of Heyang and Fuyang on the treatment of postpartum cold dampness nonspecific low back pain,evaluate the curative effect of acupuncture on these acupoints,and explore mechanism of the acupoints of Heyang and Fuyang for treating postpartum cold dampness nonspecific low back pain.Furthermore,this paper aims to establish a technical plan for acupuncture treatment with simple operation,precise curative effect,good repeatability,and unique method to provide new ideas for clinical treatment.Methods60 patients who were treated at Beijing Taijitang Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital and Sub-division were selected.They met the diagnosis and inclusion criteria for postpartum cold dampness nonspecific low back pain.According to the random grouping method,They were randomly divided into control group and treatment group.In the course of treatment,due to their own reasons and treatment effect,2 cases fell off in each group.Therefore,60 cases were observed,each group had 30 cases.The treatment group was treated with acupuncture on both sides of Heyang and Fuyang acupoints,while the control group was treated with conventional acupuncture.The treatment last for 8 weeks.According to the JOA score,Mc Gill score,the infrared temperature contrast between the two groups before and after treatment,I make a statistical analysis,and compare the effective rates of the two groups,the curative effects within and between the groups,and summarize the therapeutic effects of acupuncture on the acupoints of Heyang and Fuyang on postpartum cold dampness nonspecific low back pain,.Results1.Baseline comparison.The two groups of patients were compared with general data before treatment.The comparison of age,mode of production,course of disease,JOA score,Mc Gill score,the infrared temperature were statistically analyzed.The difference have no statistically significant(P>0.05).2.Comparison of JOA scores: Compared with the scores before treatment,the JOA scores of the treatment group and the control group were significantly improved after treatment.The difference was significant,having statistically significant(P<0.01).It shows that the treatment of postpartum cold dampness nonspecific low back pain with Heyang and Fuyang points and conventional acupuncture are both effective.Comparing the JOA score scale after treatment between the treatment group and the control group,the score of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference having statistically significant(P<0.01),indicating that the score of the treatment group was better than the control group.Mc Gill scores comparison: Compared with the Mc Gill scores of each group before and after treatment.Comparing the PRI score,VAS score,and PPI score of the two groups before and after treatment,the difference was significant.They have statistically significant(P<0.01).However,the effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.3.The infrared temperatures comparison: Compared with the waist infrared temperatures of each group before and after treatment.Compared with the temperatures before treatment,the infrared temperatures of the treatment group and the control group were significantly improved after treatment.The difference was significant,having statistically significant(P<0.01).The difference in the treatment group was greater than that in the control group.4.Comparison of curative effect: The two groups of patients were evaluated and analyzed by JOA.In the treatment group,5 cases were cured,15 cases were markedly effective,7 cases were effective,and the total effective rate was 90%;in the control group,3 cases were cured,7 cases were markedly effective,and 12 cases were effective.The efficiency is 73%.After rank sum test analysis,P=0.016(P<0.05).The difference has statistically significant.It shows that the therapeutic effect of the treatment group is better than that of the control group.ConclusionAcupuncture at Heyang and Fuyang acupoints are as effective as conventional acupuncture treatment for postpartum cold dampness nonspecific low back pain.The treatment can reduce the pain and the psychological burden of the patient.The daily activities of the parturient are significantly improved,and the quality of life has been significantly improved.However,acupuncture at the acupoints of Heyang and Fuyang for the treatment of postpartum cold dampness nonspecific low back pain is more effective in reducing the patient’s pain,improving mobility,and reducing emotional stress.The effect is better.The operation is simple,it is worthy of clinical application.
