Objective:To explore the gender differences of clinical characteristi-cs,and to explore the relationship between treatment time and treatment ti-me by analyzing the correlation analysis and regression analysis of treat-ment time and the intermediary effect analysis of treatment time as interm-ediary.The clinical data of inpatients with bipolar disorder diagnosed for the first time were statistically analyzed in order to help clinical workers to identify bipolar disorder early and improve their treatment complianceMethod:All the inpatients who were hospitalized in Jining in 2016 and diagnosed as bipolar affective disorder for the first time were included in the study. All the patients in the study met the ICD-10 diagnostic criteria of International Psychiatry.A total of 820 patients were enrolled in the study, including 409 males and 411 females. The patient's demographic information(age, years of education, marriage, family history, nationality, place of residence,pre-illness character, occupation)and clinical information(course of disease, age of first onset, length of stay)and clinical characteristics(course of disease, age of first onset, length of stay)were queried through the electronic medical record system(EMR).first recurrence interval, total cost, average cost, history of mental stimulation, form of onset, number of relapses, initial symptoms, accompanied by psychotic symptoms.Diagnostic diagnosis, past diagnosis, treatment time, suicide),the information is compiled into a self-made spreadsheet, and all the obtained data are statistically analyzed on the SPSS17.0 statistical software.Result:1.Demographic characteristics:There was a significant difference in the personality of patients with bipolar disorder between different genders in terms of pre-disease personality.(?2=11.449,P=0.003);There was also a significant difference in marital status among patients with bipolar disorder(?2=20.194,P=0.000),and there was a significant difference in the number of years of education(t=4.618,P=0.001).2.Clinical features:there was a significant difference in the history of psychostimulation in patients with bipolar disorder(?2=7.314,P=0.008),and in the onset form of bipolar disorder(?2=12.677,P=0.002),The difference in the first diagnosis of bipolar disorder was statistically significant(?2?10.068,P=0.002).3.Prior diagnosis:The first three were single-phase depression(20.4%),single-phase mania(9.5%),and schizophrenia(9.3%),respectively,t-he gender of bipolar disorder had a significant difference in this respect(?2=44.815,P=0.000).4.Diagnosis of bipolar disorder:there was a significant difference between the sexes in this respect(?2=13.351,P=0.004).5.There was a significant difference in the suicide status of bipolar disorder(?2=10.498,P=0.001),there was a difference in the suicide behavior of bipolar disorder(?2=8,377,P=0.039).6.The time of treatment was positively correlated with first recurrence interval(r=0.242,P=0.000)and the times of recurrence(r=0.163,P=0.000).In terms of treatment time,education(r=0.128,P=0.000),marital status(r=0.513,P=0.000),residence(r=0.830,P=0.018),course of disease(r=0.126,P=0.000),and previous diagnosis(r=0.229,P=0.000)were analyzed using the treatment time as a dependent variable There was a positive correlation between the time of treatment and the first symptoms(r=0.089,P=0.011),occupation(r=0.171,P=0.000).There was a significant negative correlation between the age of the first onset and the treatment time(r=0.129,P=0.000).The time of treatment was correlated with sex, family history, onset form, psychotic symptom, nationality, premorbid sex, type of medication.7.The intermediate effect equation of the first onset age and the course of disease entered the treatment time, and Interval time for first recurrence.and number of recurrence was also included in the intermediate effect equation of the treatment time8.The intermediate effect test showed that the time of treatment played an intermediate role between the age of first onset and the number of recurrence, and the intermediate effect was 21.3%.The duration of treatment also played an intermediary role between the course of disease and the frequency of recurrence, with an intermediate effect of 29.7%.Conclusion:1.Most of the male patients with biphasic affective disorder were characterized by chronic onset and introverted personality, long years of education, high diagnosis rate of biphasic affective disorder. Most of the female patients with biphasic affective disorder were mainly depressive symptoms, vulnerable to mental stimulation, more married, more accompanied by suicide history, and more accompanied by suicidal ideas and suicidal behavior2.The time of treatment was between the age of the first onset of the disease and the number of recurrence, the course of disease and the number of recurrences had an intermediary effect relationship. Therefore, the continuation of treatment time can reduce the positive effect on the recurrence times of bipolar disorder patients with early onset age and long course of disease.
