Object: In professor Lou Duofeng”Xu Xie Yu”theory as the guidance, research therelationship of rheumatoid arthritis and between type of TCM syndrome by clinicalinvestigation, to explore the distribution characteristics of RA in type of clinical TCMsyndrome, to direct the of treatment based onTCM syndrome, to choose moreeffectively traditional Chinese medicine treatment to the prevention and treatment ofRA.Methods:186patients Included in the standard were randomly selected from April,2013to March,2013in henan Hospital of Rheumatism, disease information of thepatients about the general information collection and four diagnostic methods of TCMwere collected. analyzed The disease information by syndrome differentiation oftraditional Chinese medicine, the frequency description statistics, factor analysis, cluster analysis and other statistical methods to summarized the study of TCMsyndrome distribution of rheumatoid arthritis.Results:1, Generally results: sex ratio of RA patients is1:8.3, average age is48.30±11.89, age of onset more attacts at the age of40~60. Tthe shortest ofthe disease course is two months, the longest is30years, the median is48months.The main triggers of RA are catch cold (50.7%)and fatigue (28.5%); Incidence inwinter season (26.3%), spring (19.9%), summer (19.4%), Increase the season is givenpriority to with winter (26.3%).2, factor analysis results: by principal componentmethod t arrived at eight common factors, analyzed the eight syndrome factor, namely,qi deficiency, Yang deficiency, Yin deficiency, kidney deficiency, and qi stagnation,cold-dampness, phlegm dampness, blood stasis.3,The clustering analysis results:rotated the TCM syndrome in the most senior to the power value method arrived ateight common factors, analyzed the eight syndrome factor by systematic clusteringanalysis contained Ward method,Euclidean distance,Z score the statistical results in combination with professional knowledge, five more practical evidence types wereconcluded.Conclusion:1.Female patients are more than Male patients for RA; and so the courseof span is.2.Through factor analysis, analyzed the four diagnostic information can beconcluded that four Xu factors:qi deficiency, Yang deficiency, Yin deficiency andkidney deficiency;two Xie factors:cold-dampness and phlegm dampness;two Yufactors: and qi stagnation and blood stasis.3.The result of clustering analysis showsthat RA patients can be divided into five types of TCM syndrome:qi and Yindeficiency,Humid heat and blood stasis resistance;deficiency of liver depression, Wet and stasisbizu;cold dampness and blood stasis resistance, lack of sun be the spirit;Xie and YuBizu and deficiency of qi and blood (simple joint type), the kidney Yang deficiency, wet and stasis Bizu.
