Analysis And Countermeasures Of Health Education Demand For Patients With Alcohol Use Dependence In Qiqihar

BackgroundAlcohol dependence is the recurrent and chronic brain disease of toxic central nervous system caused by habitual excessive drinking,which is a world's serious medical and social problem.Health education is a kind of information dissemination and behavior intervention method,with features of purpose and planning,to help the individual and the masses achieving the object of preventing diseases,promoting health and improving the quality of life through organized and systematic education.The prevalence of alcohol use dependence at home and abroad were higher,with a trend of increasing gradually,causing increasingly serious problem of individual health hazards and family violence.According to the WHO in 2014,about 3.3 million death caused by drinking,accounted for 5.9% of total global deaths.Therefore,it is urgent to strengthen the health education of patients with alcohol use dependence and ameliorate alcohol use dependence condition.However,the recurrence rate of alcohol use dependence is still high,as the lack of practical,effective and specific methods of health education.Objectives1.Investigating health education needs of alcohol use dependence patients.2.Analysis the related factors of the demand of health education.3.According to the Health Belief Model,providing alcohol use dependence patients with health education strategies,aiming to reduce the recurrence rate of alcohol use dependence.Methods1.Through related research literature and experts consulting,to form investigating questionnaire,confirming alcohol use dependence patients needs of health education content and choices for time and methods.2.Combine with investigating questionnaire results,preparing alcohol use dependence patients health education needs questionnaire,which includes general information,the demand of the health education content,the choices for time and methods with Cronbach's alpha = 0.76,content validity(CVI=0.88).3.According to the inclusion criteria,137 respondents were selected from neurological department in 2 3A-grade hospitals and 4 mental hospitals.The questionnaire was completed within 20 minutes and withdrew immediately,with the guidance of the investigators.4.All the data were processed by SPSS 25.0 software.The enumeration data were presented by number and constituent ratio,and were analyzed by chi square test,P<0.05 was considered as statistically significant.Results1.The top 3 demand of disease-related knowledge for alcohol use dependence respectively was disease related concept,clinical manifestation and the therapeutic principle of diseases;For the demand of the harm for alcohol use dependence,the sequence was the harm of the body,the harm of family and the harm of society;The priority to self-care ways demand was psychological support.2.On the time of health education,37.23% of patients choice was in the middle of the treatment;27.00% of patients had no limits for the time;41.61% of patients chose in the morning for health education;45.26% patients chose the duration of health education between 20 to 30 minutes.3.The top 3 demand for health education methods were as follows,community education,face to face,and handing out brochures,and needs of other ways were below 40.0% such as telephone return visit,WeChat notification and so on.4.The single-factor analysis of health education demand showed that marital status,income,will of giving up drinking,drunkenness,whether to work after drinking and drinking years was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions1.In this study,we developed the questionnaire about investigation of health education need for patients with alcohol use dependence and processed the content validity and reliability test,which can be used to investigate the health needs of patients with alcohol use dependence.2.Patients with alcohol use dependence have a focus on different health education content and different choices for time and ways for health education.On the basis of the above resolution,a strategy is developed to reduce the relapse rate of alcohol use dependence patients.3.Marital status,income,will of giving up drinking,drunkenness,whether to work after drinking and drinking years are the influence factors of health education need degree.
