Part 1 The application of SS-OCT in the choroidal thickness of patients with central serous chorioretinopathyObjective To investigate choroidal thickness in patients with central serous chorioretinopathy by swept-source optical coherence tomography(SS-OCT)and to analyze the factors that associating with choroidal thickness.Methods There were 37 patients(47 CSC eyes)enrolled in this study from June 2017 to December 2018.27 patients were affected unilaterally and 10 patients were affected bilaterally.These patients were divided into affected eye group(47 eyes)and unaffected fellow eye group(27 eyes).And 23 healthy subjects were enrolled as control groups All the objects were over 50 years old and the patients were accepted FFA and ICGA.All the subjects accepted enhanced swept-source optical coherence tomography(SS-OCT)and measured the choroidal thickness at 9 sectors,including central region,and nasal,temporal,above and bottom of first circle and second circle.Results The mean age of CSC eyes group,unaffected fellow eyes group,and the age-matched healthy subjects groups are(55.96±4.86)years,(55.85±5.00)years.(56.00±4.88)years.The mean subfoveal choroid thickness of both affected eye group and unaffected fellow eye group was significantly thicker than that of the control group[(413.98±48.20)μm,(352.93±42.15)μm,(315.43±43.62)μm,respectively,F=12.365,P<0.0011.There were significantly differences in choroidal thickness in other sites of three groups.The choroidal thickness is widespread thick,especially in the nasal side.Diopter is the related factor of choroidal thickness.Conclusions The subfoveal choroidal thickness in over 50 years old patients with central serous chorioretinopathy is above 400μm.The CSC eyes and unaffected fellow eyes choroidal thickness is significantly thicker than the age-matched healthy subjects.The choroidal thickness is widespread thick,especially in the nasal side.Diopter is the related factor of choroidal thickness.Part 2 Relationship between different lesions activity,degree of choriochapillary extension and subfoveal choroidal thickness in patients with central serous chorioretinopathyObjective To observe the relationship between different lesions activity,degree of choriochapillary extension and subfoveal choroidal thickness in central serous chorioretinopathy.Methods Sixty patients(79 eyes)with central serous chorioretinopathy in our hospital from October 2017 to December 2018 were enrolled in this study.All the patients accepted FFA,SS-OCT,OCTA.Based on the results of FFA,the patients were divided into 3 groups:A,B,C group.Based on the OCTA characteristics,including low extension,mild extension,high extension.The relationship between different lesions activity,degree of choriochapillary extension and subfoveal choroidal thickness in central serous chorioretinopathy.was analyzed.Results There were 60 patients included.Among the A group,there were 9,6,1 eyes of low,medium and high extension respectively.Among the B group,there were 15,19,5 eyes of low,medium and high extension respectively.Among the C group,there were 3,17,4 eyes of low,medium and high extension respectively.There is significantly difference between three groups(X2=10.471,P=0.033)· Subfoveal choroidal thickness of choriochapillary low,medium and high extension are(384.52±56.45)μm、(408.72±40.66)μm、(426.14±45.41)[±m,respectively,there is significantly difference among them(F=7.175,P=0.001).SFCT in eyes of high extension was obviously thicker than low and medium extension(t=3.511、2.254,P=0.001、0.026).There is no correlation between lesions activity and SFCT(r=0.446,P=0.152).The degree of choroidal extension had a positive correlation with the subfoveal choroidal thickness(r=0.299.P=0.000).Conclusions CCE and SFCT in central serous chorioretinopathy are significantly increased with the lesions activity aggravation.CCE is related with SFCT.Degree of choriochapillary extension and subfoveal choroidal thickness become the important factor to diagnosis and evaluate CSC.
