Study On The Service Ability Of Chinese Social Pharmacy In The Perspective Of Comparison Between China And Japan

Objective:The purpose of this study is to clarify the development status of pharmacy services in social pharmacies in China,and to analyze the development of Japanese pharmacies and the level of pharmacy service capabilities.From the five dimensions of legislation,pharmacy development,staffing,pharmaceutical services,and public awareness,The development of pharmacy services in Japanese social pharmacies was compared to clarify the difficulties and obstacles in the implementation of pharmacy services in social pharmacies in China,and to learn from the mature practical experience in Japan,to explore effective measures and suggestions for improving the pharmacy service capabilities of social pharmacies in China.Methods:Using literature analysis method to summarize and sort out the frontier research related to pharmacy service in China’s social pharmacy;collect official statistics of China’s and Japanese health administrative departments,and describe and analyze the basic situation of social pharmacy development and staffing in China and Japan respectively;The law investigates the development of pharmacy services and public cognition in four social pharmacies in Jiangsu Province;uses comparative analysis to compare and analyze the pharmacy service capabilities of social pharmacies in China and Japan;and uses the interview method of insiders to explore and improve the pharmacy service capacity of social pharmacies in China.Suggestions for the countermeasures.Results:The development of pharmacy services in China’s social pharmacies has begun to take shape,but the regulatory system and pharmacy supervision system are not perfect;the number of pharmacy personnel and professional and technical level are insufficient;the pharmacy service standards and norms are lacking;the public’s awareness of pharmacists and pharmacy services is insufficient.The problem has seriously affected the ability and level of the development of pharmaceutical services in social pharmacies in China.Conclusion:Through comparing with the development of Japanese social pharmacies,it is found that there are weak links in the legislation,management,personnel and services of Chinese social pharmacies,which leads to the pharmacy service capacity of China’s social pharmacies is far less than that of Japan.Therefore,it is recommended that the state speed up the legislative process of the Pharmacist Law;improve the social pharmacy supervision system;enhance the service ability of licensed pharmacists;clarify the pharmacy service norms and procedures;and raise public awareness.
