Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of Kangxiongtong Mixture in the treatment of stable angina pectoris of coronary heart disease(Qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome),and to provide relevant basis for its clinical application.Method 1.Based on the principle of randomized,double-blind,parallel controlled and multi-center clinical trials, patients with stable angina pectoris of grade I,II and III were selected as the subjects of the study, who belong to the syndrome of qi stagnation and blood stasis. From October 2016 to December 2018,60 patients in the outpatient and inpatient department of Cardiology of Hubei Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital were selected as the subjects. These patients had never been treated with traditional Chinese medicine for promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis before they were enrolled, but they had been treated with conventional western medicine such as anti-myocardial ischemia and anti-platelet aggregation for 30 days.Thirty patients were randomly divided into experimental group(routine western medicine plus kangxiogntong mixture 20ml/time,3 times/day,oral after meals),and 30 patients in control group(routine western medicine treatment). The subjects were treated with routine western medicine for 4 weeks before admission.2.To observe the changes of TCM syndromes and integrals before and after treatment, angina pectoris(attack frequency, duration, degree of pain),changes of nitroglycerin usage, changes of electrocardiogram and time needed for treadmill exercise test from the beginning to the end.To evaluate the efficacy of Kangxiong Mixture in treating stable angina pectoris of coronary heart disease by comparing the above indexes.Effectiveness of Qi Stagnation and Blood Stasis Syndrome.3.To evaluate the safety of drugs by carefully observing the vital signs, laboratory related indicators(such as blood, urine, feces, liver and kidney function, coagulation function, etc.)and adverse events before and after treatment.4.The data of this study were analyzed by SPSS22.0software.Results 1.Comparability :The two groups were comparable in sex, age, frequency of angina pectoris, grade of angina pectoris and other cardiovascular diseases(P>0.05).2.Therapeutic effect of TCM syndromes: The curative effect of the experimental group was more significant than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).3.The curative effect of angina pectoris: The curative effect of the experimental group was more significant than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).4.Changes of TCM syndrome integral and angina pectoris integral: Before treatment, there was no significant difference in TCM syndrome integral and angina pectoris integral between the two groups(P > 0.05),which was comparable. After treatment, the scores of TCM syndromes and angina pectoris in both groups were lower than those before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05);and compared with the control group, the two scores in the experimental group decreased more significantly, the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).5.ECG effect: The curative effect of the experimental group was more significant than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).6.Exercise treadmill test: Before treatment,There was no significant difference(P > 0.05)between the experimental group and the control group in the time from the beginning to the end of the treadmill exercise test(reaching the positive or discontinuing criteria). After treatment, the duration of treadmill exercise test in the experimental group was longer than that in the control group, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P < 0.05).7.In the study, the vital signs of the 60 patients were stable. There were no abnormal laboratory indicators(such as blood, urine, feces, liver and kidney function, coagulation function, etc.)and no adverse events. Conclusion kangxiogntong mixture is effective and safe in treating stable angina pectoris of coronary heart disease(Qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome).
