Objective: To study the relationship between cytochrome CYP24A1 gene rs114368325,rs6068812,rs2296239 and rs1570670 polymorphisms and susceptibility to colorectal polyps and colorectal cancer.Methods: The patient was selected from the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University from September 2018 to January 2019.The patient was diagnosed with colorectal polyps and colorectal cancer for the first time.According to the principle of similarity in age and gender,the same course was selected at Guangxi Medical University.A healthy person attending a medical center of an affiliated hospital served as a control group.The clinical data and blood samples of each case group and control group were collected,and the CYP24A1 gene rs114368325 and rs6068812 were detected by polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism(PCR-RFLP).,rs2296239 and rs1570670 four locus gene fragments,the PCR product fragments were subjected to DNA sequencing analysis.The four nucleotide polymorphism(SNP)loci were tested by Hardy-weinberg equilibrium(HWE)using the quasi-sumness ?2 test.The gender was corrected by unconditional logistic regression analysis.After age,the odds ratio(OR)and 95% confidence interval(CI)were calculated to analyze the relationship between the polymorphisms of the four SNP loci and the genetic susceptibility of colorectal polyps and colorectal cancer.Result:1.This study included 110 healthy controls,118 colorectal polyps,and 139 colorectal cancers.There was no significant difference in the sex ratio between the study group and the control group(P > 0.05).The distribution frequencies of rs114368325 and rs2296239 genotypes in each case group and control group were consistent with the Ha-war equilibrium law(both P > 0.05).2.CYP24A1 rs114368325 locus has GG,AG two genotypes,no AA homozygous mutant type,compared with the control group,rs114368325 site mutation genotype AG and allele A carrier frequency is not between the case groups Differences were found(both P > 0.05).Three genotypes of CC,CT and TT were found in the rs2296239 locus.Only one genotype GG was found in both the rs6068812 locus and the rs1570670 locus.The alleles and genotypes of the rs2296239,rs6068812 and rs1570670 loci were compared with the control group,and the P values were all >0.05.The difference was not statistically significant.Conclusion: The genetic polymorphisms of CYP24A1 gene rs114368325,rs2296239,rs6068812 and rs1570670 have no significant correlation with the risk of colorectal polyps and colorectal cancer.
