Objective:Through the analysis of the origin, development and formation of the theory of physique of traditional Chinese medicine, the theory of the constitution of ancient doctors from the Huangdi Neijing to the Ming and Qing Dynasties,as well as the relevant literature on the classification of traditional Chinese medicine constitution since 1970 s,were analyzed and compared, and the classification of ancient doctors and modern doctors was compared.Similarities and differences,in order to provide a theoretical reference for the standardization of TCM constitution classification. Methods:Based on Ancient books of traditional Chinese Medicine and Chinese academic full text database(CNKI),we excavated ancient doctors' literatures and modern doctors' literatures on TCM constitution classification. The definition of ancient and modern doctors' constitution, the basis of constitution classification, the specific method of constitution classification and the theoretical basis of constitution classification are arranged, summarized and analyzed, and the comparison of the classification of traditional Chinese Medicine Constitution of ancient doctors and modern doctors is compared from the above four aspects.Results:1.According to the origin, development and forming sequence of TCM constitution theory, excavated 19 ancient physicians' classification of physique from the Huangdi Neijing to the Ming and Qing Dynasties.Sorting out the chronological order of the history of traditional Chinese Medicine. There were "Huangdi Neijing" in the period of the Qin Dynasty and the Han Dynasty,Zhang Zhongjing,Wang Shuhe,Chao Yuan, and so on in the period of the Three Kingdoms to the two Song Dynasties,Liu Fu Su and Zhu Danxi in the Jin and Yuan Dynasties,Zhang Jingyue,Xue Xue,Wu Jutong and so on in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.2.A total of 24 modern physicians' classification of physical fitness has been excavated since 1970 s.Collate in the order of modern time. The main doctors have Wang Qi,Kuang yuan in 1970 s,Su Shurong in 80 s,mother country in 80 s,He Yumin and Wen Zhenying in 90 s,Lin Qiming and Huang Huang in twenty-first Century, mainly on the definition of physical constitution, the basis of constitution classification, the physical method of constitution classification and the theoretical basis of constitution classification.Induction and analysis.3.The third part of the thesis, based on the arrangement and analysis of the first and second parts of the thesis, compares the physical constitution of ancient doctors and moderndoctors from the definition of constitution, the basis of constitution classification, the concrete method of constitution classification and the theoretical basis of constitution classification. From the definition of constitution, the understanding of the concept of Physique in ancient and modern doctors all contains four aspects of congenital, acquired, form and spirit.Compared with ancient doctors, modern doctors have a more comprehensive understanding of physique, which not only includes physiological functions, morphological institutions, mental(spirit, emotion). It even includes pathology, metabolism, etc.According to the standard and classification method of the constitution classification, the classification standard and the classification method of the ancient doctors are relatively simple.Basically, they are classified according to the standard of yin and yang or the body type.9 kinds of physique classification methods in Neijing are divided, the doctors with Yin and Yang as the classification standard are more, and the next is the body type as the classification standard. Most of modern doctors' physique classification is a comprehensive variety of factors as the classification standard, the classification method is more complex.Basically, most doctors take Yin and Yang as one of the classification standards, and then combine the viscera,Qi and blood body fluid, deficiency and reality, cold and heat and other factors together to form the constitution classification standard, only one kind of factors as the classification standard medicine. There are few families;According to the theoretical basis of constitution classification, the basic theory of most medical practitioners' physique classification basically comes from the Yin and yang theory, the theory of Tibetan image, the theory of the five elements, the theory of Qi and blood body fluid and the theory of "the theory of typhoid fever".Conclusion:This paper collated, analyzed and compared the contents of traditional Chinese medicine constitution classification between ancient physicians and modern physicians since Huangdi Neijing. It is found that the modern doctors' definition of constitution is more comprehensive on the basis of the understanding of ancient doctors, and the classification and classification methods of modern doctors are more complex than those of ancient doctors.Ancient doctors in the classification of physique pay more attention to the classification of yin and Yang, whether it is the classification of yin and Yang only,or the proportion of yin and Yang, yin and yang are the main criteria for the classification of ancient doctors. In ancient times, the ancient doctors thought that yin and Yang were able to representthe body characteristics of the whole population. In the classification of modern doctors' physique, yin and yang are classified as one of the criteria for classification. They are also matched with Qi,blood, deficiency and cold, heat and other indicators. The theoretical basis of ancient and modern doctors' physique classification mainly came from Huangdi Neijing.Huangdi Neijing is an important document to study the constitution of Chinese medicine.
