OBJECTIVE: This study conducts health education on patients with cervical spinal cord injury through routine respiratory function training health education and video-based health education methods,analyzes and compares the effects of the two methods,and finds a more suitable clinical health education method to improve nursing.Specialized connotation,response to the same quality overall quality care services,to meet the requirements of nursing development planning.METHODS: Eighty patients with cervical spinal cord injury from a top three hospital in Nanchang City from August 2017 to January 2019 were selected and divided into control group and observation group in chronological order.The control group was followed by regular health education methods(such as oral or health education).The patient was trained in respiratory function training and health education intervention.The observation group first formed a homogeneous nursing group to use evidence-based methods to conduct literature search on respiratory health training video health education for patients with cervical spinal cord injury at home and abroad.Experts discussed,formed a standardized breathing function training process,conducted homogenous training for nurses,produced a respiratory function training video for patient training,and introduced a mobile IPAD plate for patients with bed cervical spinal cord injury to watch and intervene.The knowledge acquisition rate and respiratory function training compliance of the two groups were investigated on the first day of the intervention and on the day of discharge.The nurses' health education time,the acceptance of the intervention method,the patient satisfaction with the nurse,and the patient's lung were investigated on the day of discharge.The infection rate,etc.,compare the differences between the two health education methods.RESULTS: There was no significant difference in the general data between the control group(conventional health education group)and the observation group(video health education group)on the day of admission(P>0.05).On the first day of training,the two groups of patients in the cervical cord injury disease related knowledge,respiratory function training purposes and significance,breathing training process,effective cough,lip breathing,abdominal breathing,ballooning and breathing exerciser specific matters and patients There was no significant difference in compliance between the respiratory function training steps(P>0.05).The effect of health education on the two groups on the day of discharge:(1)The degree of knowledge of cervical spinal cord injury: The number of knowledge in the video health education group was higher than that in the traditional health education group,and the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).(2)Comparing the two groups of patients with respiratory function training including the effective cough,lip breathing,abdominal breathing,ballooning or breathing function training device(post position,time,frequency)and method of compliance differences were statistically significant(p<0.05),and the number of adherence in the observation group was higher than that in the control group.(3)The difference in discharge satisfaction between the two groups was statistically significant(p<0.05),and the observation group was higher than the control group.(4)There was a statistically significant difference in the health education time between the two groups(p<0.05),and the observation group was less than the control group.(5)There was a statistically significant difference in the recognition of nurses between the two groups(p<0.05).The recognition of video health education by nurses was significantly higher than that of traditional health education groups.(6)There was a statistically significant difference in lung infection between the two groups(p<0.05),and the observation group was lower than the control group.Conclusion:(1)Video health education is superior to conventional health education for patients with cervical spinal cord injury.The patient has high knowledge of respiratory function training,high compliance,high satisfaction,and low lung infection rate.(2)Video health education can not only save the nurse's mission time,but also be recognized and accepted by clinical nurses.It is a health education model worthy of promotion.
