Purpose: To explore the rule of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of oxaliplatin-induced peripheral neurotoxicity,to provide reference for the clinical treatment of oxaliplatin-induced peripheral neurotoxicity prescription medication, and to provide data support for the treatment of oxaliplatin-induced peripheral neurotoxicity and the development of new drugs.Method:By collecting the published literatures in the full-text database of Chinese journals,Weipu and Wanfang databases,we systematically sorted out the effective prescriptions of traditional Chinese medicine for the treatment of oxaliplatin-induced peripheral neurotoxicity.By using the methods of frequency statistics and cluster analysis,we made a statistical analysis on the frequency, four odors, five odors and meridians of the effective prescriptions of traditional Chinese medicine for the treatment of oxaliplatin-induced peripheral neurotoxicity.Further clustering analysis was conducted.Result: A total of 145 relevant literatures were collected,72 internal and 73 external Chinese medicines were taken, and 136 internal Chinese medicines were involved. The high-frequency medicines used to treat oxaliplatin-induced peripheral neurotoxicity are Astragalus membranaceus,Angelica sinensis, cinnamon twig,Paeonia lactiflora, chicken blood rattan,Ligusticum chuanxiong, earthworm, licorice and Codonopsis pilosula. The medicines mainly belong to the spleen, liver, lung, stomach, heart and kidney meridians. We found 22 common medicines for the treatment of oxaliplatin-induced peripheral neurotoxicity,8 core drug combinations,4new medicines for the treatment of oxaliplatin-induced peripheral neurotoxicity, and screened 73 effective prescriptions for the treatment of oxaliplatin-induced peripheral neurotoxicity with external Chinese medicines, involving 91 Chinese medicines. The high-frequency medicines used for external treatment of oxaliplatin-induced peripheral neurotoxicity were Cinnamomum cassia,Safflower,Astragalusmembranaceus,Angelica sinensis,Ligusticum chuanxiong,Chicken blood rattan,Willingham,Dilong,Salvia miltiorrhiza,Achyranthes bidentata, etc. The medicines were mainly attributed to the liver, heart, spleen, lung and kidney meridians.Sixteen commonly used drugs, eight core drug combinations and five new prescriptions for the treatment of oxaliplatin-induced peripheral neurotoxicity were excavated. Conclusion: In the treatment of OIPN,the main prescriptions are blood-activating and stasis-removing drugs, followed by deficiency-reinforcing drugs and dispersing wind-cold drugs,in which Qi-reinforcing drugs are commonly used with blood-reinforcing drugs, and dispersing wind-cold drugs are mostly used with blood-activating and stasis-removing drugs and blood-reinforcing drugs.Traditional Chinese medicines are mostly used for warmth, calmness, pungency, sweetness and bitterness, and for liver, heart, spleen, lung and kidney meridians. The pathogenesis of OIPN is Qi deficiency and blood stasis, cold coagulation of meridians, phlegm and dampness coagulation, and venous dystrophy. The treatment of OIPN should be based on activating blood circulation and removing blood stasis, supplementing qi and nourishing blood circulation, warming meridians and dispersing cold, dispelling wind and dampness, resolving phlegm and dredging collaterals. At the same time,it should be based on the pathogenesis of patients, cooperate with liver and pain relief, nourishing liver and kidney, regulating qi and invigorating spleen, and other treatment methods, combined with the statistical drugs,in order to achieve better therapeutic effect.
