Objective: Using TCM inheritance support platform(V2.5)software,data mining has been conducted on literatures of subacute thyroiditis treated by traditional Chinese medicine in recent 30 years,in order to explore and analyze the law of drug use of internal and external Chinese medicine in the treatment of subacute thyroiditis by traditional Chinese medicine,and guide clinical practice.Methods: Using CNKI(Chinese journal full-text database)and wanfang medical network database as retrieval tools and literature sources,literatures on the treatment of subthyroitis by traditional Chinese medicine from 1988 to 2018 were searched.Literatures were obtained according to inclusion and exclusion criteria,and formulae and drug compositions recorded in literatures were extracted and a database was established.Frequency analysis,association principle,improved mutual information method,complex system entropy clustering method and unsupervised entropy hierarchical clustering method were used to mine the data of internal and external Chinese medicine respectively,so as to find out the law of drug compatibility and summarize the new prescription.Results: According to the software analysis,the top three drugs in the usage frequency of internal medicine prescriptions are bupleurum root,licorice root and forsythia forsythiae,most of which belong to heat-clearing category.Based on the complex system entropy clustering,18 core combinations that may be hidden laws in the internal medicine of traditional Chinese medicine in treating subthyroiditis are mined,and 9 new prescriptions are obtained based on the unsupervised entropy hierarchical clustering.The top three drugs in the topical prescription are prunella vulgaris,rhubarb and cortex phellodendron,most of which belong to heat-clearing category.Based on the complex system entropy clustering,four core combinations that may be hidden laws in the topical application of traditional Chinese medicine in treating subthyroiditis are explored,and two new prescriptions are obtained based on the unsupervised entropy hierarchical clustering.Conclusion:1.Drug frequency: among internal and external administration of SAT,fever-clearing drugs account for the largest proportion,followed by decoction for deficiency,blood circulation and blood stasis,and phlegm-resolving drugs.The four qi are mainly cold.The five tastes are mainly bitter,sweet and bitter.Guijing is mainly guiyang liver meridian.2.Drug combination and new prescription: the efficacy of SAT drug combination mainly consists of heat clearing,blood activating,phlegm resolving and deficiency supplementing,which is consistent with the syndrome of external heat sensation,heat and toxin accumulation in the early stage of SAT,and blood coagulation and stasis of spittoon,and deficiency of Yin and Yang in the later stage.3.The core combination and new prescription summarized in this paper can provide references for clinical medication and scientific research.However,the efficacy of the new method still needs to be further tested by clinicians.
