Objective:By observing the changes of House-Brackmann(H-B)facial nerve function evaluation scale and the score of the traditional Chinese medicine symptom score scale before and after treatment, the clinical efficacy of Qufeng Jiedu Decoction in treating acute peripheral facial paralysis of wind-heat-blocking type was evaluated. Methods:In this study, randomized and controlled patients were enrolled into the treatment group(30 patients)and the control group(30 patients)who were eligible for the inclusion of the wind-heat-blocking type of acute peripheral facial paralysis.I will observe 2 courses(2 weeks for 1 course of treatment). The control group was treated with western medicine alone, and the treatment group was treated with Qifeng Jiedu Decoction combined with Western medicine. The House-Brackmann(HB)facial nerve function score and grade evaluation and the score of the escaping TCM symptom score scale were observed before treatment,2 weeks and 4 weeks after treatment, and SPSS 22.0 was used for data analysis to evaluate the clinical eff-icacy of Qufeng Jiedu Decoction.Results:1.There were no significant differences in gender, age, affected side, and duration of disease between the two groups(P>0.05),indicating that the two groups were comparable.2.Comparison of therapeutic effects of HB scale after treatment:At 2 weeks of treatment, the total effective rate of the treatment group was 86.67%,the control group was 65.52%.At the 4th week of treatment, the total effective rate of the treatment group was 93.33%,the control group was 75.86%,the difference between the two groups At two points in time was statistically significant(p<0.05).It is suggested that the efficacy of Qufeng Jiedu Decoction combined with Western medicine treatment at each time point is better than that of Western medicine alone.3.Comparison of therapeutic effects of HB scale grades after treatment:the HB grades of the two groups were decreased at 2 weeks and 4 weeks of treatment. There was a statistically significant difference in the HB scale grades between the two groups(P<0.05),indicating that the combination of Qufeng Jiedu Decoction Western medicine treatment was better than Western medicine treatment at different time points.4.Comparison of H-B scale scores before and after treatment:Both groups showed an upward trend, and the differences within the group were statistically significant(p<0.05).At 2 weeks and 4 weeks of treatment, the scores of the treatment group were higher than those of the control group, and the difference between the two groups was also statistically significant(p<0.05).It is suggested that both treatments can improve the H-B scale score, but the effect of Qifeng Jiedu Decoction combined with Western medicine is better than that of western medicine alone.5.After treatment, the efficacy of the Koupi symptom scores was compared:at 2 weeks of treatment, the total effective rate of the treatment group was 93.33%,the control group was 72.41%.At the 4th week of treatment, the total effective rate of the treatment group was 96.67%,the control group was 89.66%.The total effective rate of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group at 2 and 4 weeks of treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(p<0.01).It is suggested that the efficacy of Qufeng Jiedu Decoction combined with Western medicine treatment at each time point is better than that of Western medicine alone.6.The scores of the Koupi symptoms before and after treatment were compared:the scores of both groups showed a downward trend, and the differences within the group were statistically significant(p<0.05).At 2 weeks and 4 weeks of treatment, the scores of the treatment group were lower than the control group, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(p<0.05).It is suggested that the treatment of both groups can improve the scores of Koupi symptoms, but the effect of Qifeng Jiedu Decoction combined with Western medicine is better than that of western medicine alone. Conclusion:This study confirmed that the efficacy of Qufeng Jiedu Decoction combined with Western medicine in the treatment of wind-heat-blocking peripheral facial paralysis in Acute Stage is superior to the basic treatment of Western medicine alone, which can effectively improve the facial symptoms and signs of patients and improve their quality of life and self-confidence.It is worthy of clinical promotion and use.
