Objective:To explore the correlation between ideal cardiovascular health behavior and factors and atherogenic index of plasma(AIP)in middle-aged and elderly people in some rural areas of Jilin Province, and provide a clinical basis for early active prevention of cardiovascular disease. Methods:Using cross-sectional study,2,491 cases of resident households aged 45 and over in some rural areas of Jilin Province(Jingyu and Dongfeng County)from June to August 2013 were surveyed.Anthropometric and laboratory tests for total cholesterol,triglycerides,high-density lipoprotein cholesterol,low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, and fasting plasma glucose were conducted. It was based on the definition of ideal cardiovascular health behavior and factors of the American Heart Association(AHA),adjusted according to actual conditions, and analyzed for the correlation with AIP.This survey uses Epi Data3.1 to establish a database, and data entry is double entry. The SPSS25.0 software package was used for statistical analysis of the research data, and the measurement data was tested for normality. The normal distribution measurement data was expressed as`x±s,and the comparison between groups was performed by independent sample t test;the non-normal distribution measurement data according to M(Q25,Q75),the rank sum test was used for comparison between groups;the count data was expressed by example(%),and the comparison between groups was performed by c2test;in this study,Logistic binary regression analysis was used to study the effects of seven indicators of cardiovascular health behavior and factors on AIP risk stratification. The significance level was determined to be ?=0.05,with a difference of P < 0.05 being statistically significant.Results:1.The general situation of the research objectA total of 2,491 people were investigated in this survey, including 1139 males(45.7%)and 1352 females(54.3%).2.Demographic characteristics, and relationship between ideal cardiovascular health behavior and factors and atherogenic index of plasmaThe number of women included in this study was higher than that of men,and the proportion of the elderly was higher than that of middle-aged people. Those who did not smoke and quit smoking for more than 1 year had the highest proportion, and the proportion of occasional smokers was the lowest; The proportion of normal weight and overweight people is similar, while the proportion of obese people is the smallest;the proportion of light physical activity is the highest, the second is the heaviest, and the medium is the lowest;the proportion of moderate salt intake is the highest. The low-salt diet has the lowest proportion;TC<5.2mmol/L accounts for the vast majority of the study population,5.2-6.2mmol/L is the second,>6.2mmol/L is the least;normal high blood pressure accounted for the highest proportion, followed by normal blood pressure, and hypertension accounted for the lowest proportion;ideal fasting plasma glucose accounted for the highest proportion, followed by5.6-7.0mmol/L,and >7.0mmol/L was the lowest.3.Among the indicators of gender, body mass index, physical activity, total cholesterol, blood pressure and fasting plasma glucose, there was a statistically significant difference in the risk of arteriosclerosis between the AIP low-risk group and the AIP high-risk group(P<0.05).4.In addition to salt intake, the median values of SBP,DBP,FPG,TC,and BMI in the high-risk group of AIP were significantly higher than those in the low-risk and medium-risk group of AIP.5.The AIP risk group was used as the dependent variable, the 7 indicators were included in the model as independent variables.Logistic regression analysis showed that body mass index, total cholesterol and blood glucose had significant effects onAIP(P<0.05)after the age was corrected.Body mass index, total cholesterol, and blood glucose were independent factors in the high-risk group of AIP.The most relevant factors were body mass index and total cholesterol(P<0.001).6.The cardiovascular health status of people was in poor, moderate, and good. The proportion of AIP high-risk status was 8.7%,75.6%,and 15.7%,respectively.The difference was statistically significant(c2=148.733,P=0.000).Logistic regression analysis showed that after adjusting for gender and age,and compared with those with good cardiovascular health status, the risk of high risk of arteriosclerosis increased by2.753 times(OR=3.753,95%CI: 2.892 ~ 4.869)in patients with moderate cardiovascular health status;the risk of arteriosclerosis increased by 12.799 times in people with poor cardiovascular health(OR=13.799,95% CI: 8.367~22.690).Conclusion:Body mass index, total cholesterol, and blood glucose were negatively correlated with AIP in the ideal cardiovascular health behavior and factors of middle-aged and elderly people in some rural areas of Jilin Province. The most relevant correlations were body mass index and total cholesterol.
