ObjectiveAs one of the most common malignant tumors in women, breast cancer has become the most prevalent malignancy in China.Surgical treatment is the most important treatment for breast cancer patients, but breast cancer surgery on the body damage is greater, patients often for the form of defects and depression. In addition, postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy, radiotherapy or endocrine therapy, drugs and radiation caused by adverse reactions, the patients have different degrees of physical and psychological pain. The purpose of this study was to observe the clinical effect of Chinese Medicine five-element music therapy on postoperative depression and quality of life in patients with breast cancer, and to explore the relationship between prognostic factors thioredoxin and VEGF in breast cancer, and to clarify the effect of traditional Chinese medicine on the improvement of depression and quality of life in breast cancer patients by observing the correlation between the changes of prognostic factors of breast cancer, this study attempts to provide an objective basis for explaining the effect of five-element music therapy on breast cancer patients.MethodsIn this study,a prospective randomized controlled trial was conducted to randomly divide 40 patients with depression after breast cancer surgery in accordance with the inclusion criteria into treatment group and control group,20 cases per group. The treatment group was required to receive five elements of music therapy for at least 30 minutes a day on the basis of conventional therapy. The control group was treated with routine treatment.A total of 3 months of observation. The scores of Zung Depression Scale(SDS)and quality of life(Fact-b 4.0)in breast cancer patients before and after treatment were evaluated,as well as the values of thioredoxin and VEGF indexes before and after treatment. The SPSS17.0 software is used to process the data, analyze the experimental results and draw the conclusion.ResultsAfter the conclusion of this study, the treatment group and the control group were 20 cases of effective cases. The results are as follows:1.Baseline comparison:There was no significant difference between the general data of patients in the treatment group and the control group and the Zung Depression Scale(SDS),the quality of life of breast cancer patients(fact-b Chinese version 4.0)and the thioredoxin factor and the VEGF factor.(P>0.05)2.Comparison of curative effects before and after treatment in the same group:After treatment, the scores of Zung Depression Scale(SDS scale)and breast cancer patient quality of life(FACT-B scale Chinese version 4.0)were compared with those before treatment.P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant;the blood test indicators of the experimental group, the values of Thioredoxin and VEGF were compared with those before treatment,P>0.05,and the differences were not statistically significant. In the control group, the VEGF factor value was statistically significant compared with that before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant. The value of Thioredoxin factor was not statistically significant compared with that before treatment.3.Effect comparison between the two groups after treatment:the treatment group s Zung Depression Scale(SDS)score, the breast cancer patient Life Quality determination table(fact-b Chinese version 4.0)score and the difference of the score compared with the control group difference have the statistical significance after the treatment.(P<0.05),the thioredoxin factor and the VEGF factor and the test value compared with the control group difference haven't the statistical significance after the treatment.(P>0.05)4.Correlation analysis:The thioredoxin factor value has no correlation with the Zung Depression Scale(SDS)score,as same as the Thioredoxin factor value with breast cancer patient quality of life(FACT-B scale Chinese version 4.0)score and the VEGF factor with Zung depression scale(SDS)score and breast cancer patient quality of life(FACT-B scale Chinese version 4.0)score.There was a negative correlation between the scores of the Zung Depression Scale(SDS)score and the Quality measurement table(fact-b Chinese version 4.0).5.No adverse reactions occurred in the two groups during the whole study.ConclusionChinese five-element music therapy can improve the depression and the quality of life of patientes with breast cancer after operation.Thioredoxin and VEGF levels in breast cancer patients did not change under the Five Elements music therapy and there was no correlation between serum factors and depression mood and quality of life in patients with breast cancer,In summary,Chinese medicine Five Elements Music Therapy is a non-pharmaceutical and economical and convenient treatment method to improve postoperative depressed mood and quality of life of breast cancer patients, but its objective physiological indicators and intrinsic mechanism of action still need to be further explored.
