Study On The Relationship Between Medical Students' Personality And Parental Rearing Patterns In An Independent Medical College In Xinjiang

Objective:In recent years,the mental health problems of medical students are one of the focuses of the whole society.Many factors in learning and life have more or less influence on the mental health of medical students.Parental rearing methods are more involved in discussion and research factors.Therefore,the purpose of this study is to clarify the following:(1)To analyze the factors affecting parenting style and personality;(2)To explore the relationship between personality and parenting style.Methods:A random sampling method was used to conduct a questionnaire survey on 347 medical students from an independent medical college in Xinjiang.The questionnaires used were the Cartel 16 Personality Factor Questionnaire,the Parenting Style Questionnaire and the Basic Questionnaire.According to the characteristics of the data,the corresponding t-test,analysis of variance,non-parametric test and other statistical methods were selected to carry out statistical inference.Relevant analysis and clustering were used to analyze the personality and parenting style and other influencing factors.Results:(1)The mean value of mothers' parenting styles was significantly higher than that of fathers(P<0.001);(2)The personality of medical students in an independent medical college in Xinjiang was in group,liveliness,courage,secularity and anxiety.Change,tension,resilience,perseverance,sensitivity,suspicion,fantasy,independence and national norm were statistically significant(P<0.05);(3)sociability,lively There is a positive correlation between stability,persistence,courage and parental emotional warmth(r=0.171,0.216,0.270,0.253,0.203,0.145,0.183,0.163,0.221,0.119);stability was negatively correlated with maternal indifference(r=-0.131);reluctance was positively correlated with father's indifference(r=0.111);persistence and parental indifference Rejection was negatively correlated(r=-0.123,-0.161);suspicion was positively correlated with parental indifference,overprotection,and raising anxiety(r=0.178,0.213,0.134,0.179,0.167,0.195);fantasy and father overprotection was negatively correlated(r=-0.110);anxiety was positively correlated with father's apathy rejection and mother's parenting anxiety(r=0.155,0.169,0.128);which was negatively correlated with father's emotional warmth(r=-0.183);Transformationality was positively correlated with father's upbringing anxiety(r=0.113);independence was negatively correlated with parental emotional warming(r=-0.164,-0.152);self-discipline was negatively correlated with maternal indifference(r=-0.108);tension was positively correlated with parental anxiety and mother indifference(r=0.203,0.150,0.179),(P<0.05);(4)Cluster analysis of data,the population was divided into three categories,The first class of students have emotional warmth,excessive protection,and low anxiety.High music group,low stability,low activity,low perseverance,low daring,high sensitivity,high anxiety,low transformation,high independence,low self-discipline,high tension;second group characteristics: Parents are emotionally warm,overprotective and score high.High stability,high resilience,high activity,high perseverance,high courage,low sensitivity,low suspicion,low anxiety,high transformation,low tension;third type of population characteristics: parental rearing High anxiety score,low score,low resilience,low independence and high self-discipline.And discriminant analysis And finally entered the equation with six variables father emotion Warm,refused to indifference father,father raising anxiety,independence,adaptation and anxiety,within extraversion,of cowardice and courage.Conclusion: Parenting style has a certain influence on the shaping of personality.Parents adopting a harmonious and warm positive parenting style is conducive to positive effect on personality shaping,and negative parenting style is not beneficial to personality formation.School and family unite to shape perfect personality.
