Objective: To study the correlation between serum 25-hydroxy vitamin D[25(OH)D],lipid metabolism.Method: 200 children with type 1 diabetes mellitus(T1DM)who were diagnosed and treated in the first affiliated hospital of xinjiang medical university from January 2013 to January 2018 were included in the observation group,and200 healthy children were enrolled in control group.Electrochemical luminescence was used to detect 25(OH)D in two groups of children. The total serum total cholesterol(TC),triglycerides(TG),heigh density lipoprotein-cholesterol(HDL-C),low density lipoprotein-cholesterol(LDL-C),serum calcium, phosphorus and alkaline phosphatase were detected by automatic biochemical analyzer.Correlation between serum 25(OH)D levels and serum lipid levels was analyzed by partial correlation.Results:(1)Serum 25(OH)D and Ca levels in T1 DM were lower than control group(P<0.05).The levels of TC,TG,HDL-C,LDL-C and ALP were higher than control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in serum P level between the two groups(P > 0.05).(2)According to serum 25(OH)D levels, cases were divided into 4 groups, the serum vitaminD adequate, insufficient, deficient and severe deficiency accounted for 13%,17%,50.5% and 19.5%.There was no significant difference in TC,TG,HDL-C,LDL-C,Ca,P,ALP between groups with different serum 25(OH)D(all P>0.05).After adjusting for age and BMI,only serum 25(OH)D was positively correlated with Ca and P(all P<0.05).Conclusion: Children with T1 DM have low level of 25(OH)D,and low level of serum 25(OH)is related to the occurrence of type 1 diabetes.Serum 25(OH)D may not be correlated with blood lipid metabolism.
