Clinical Observation Of Acupoint Catgut Embedding On Chronic Heart Failure With Spleen-Yang Deficiency

Objective:To observe the effect of acupoint catgut implantation on chronic heart failure(CHF)patients with spleen Yang deficiency.The effects of acupoint catgut embedding therapy on cardiac function,gastrointestinal function,symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine and quality of life of patients with heart failure were observed on the basis of conventional western medicine treatment and combined with acupoint catgut embedding therapy,so as to provide new ideas for clinical treatment of patients with chronic heart failure by external treatment of traditional Chinese medicine.Methods:100 patients with chronic heart failure of Spleen-Yang deficiency type were randomly divided into control group and treatment group.The control group was treated with routine western medicine,while the treatment group was treated with acupoint catgut embedding on the basis of routine western medicine.Two groups of acupoints were selected for catgut embedding operation alternately.The first group was Neiguan,Tianshu,Xinyu and Zhongwan;The second group of acupoints:Jueyinshu,Guanyuan,Zusanli and Shangjuxu,embedding catgut every 10 days for 3 months.The cardiac ultrasound(LVEF,LVED),brain natriuretic peptide(BNP),New York cardiac function(NYHA),6-minute walking test(6MWD),gastrointestinal hormone levels(GAS,MTL),traditional Chinese medicine symptoms and quality of life(MLHFQ)scores of the two groups before and after treatment were observed and compared,and the data of the two groups were analyzed and statistically processed.result:1.Physical and chemical indicators:There was no significant difference in LVEF and LVED between the two groups before and after treatment(P>0.05).BNP in the control group was significantly different before and after treatment(P<0.01).BNP in the treatment group was significantly different before and after treatment(P<0.01).After treatment,there was a significant difference in BNP between the two groups(P<0.01)2.Exercise tolerance index:6 MWD before and after treatment in the control group(P<0.01),the difference is very significant.The treatment group had 6 MWD before and after treatment(P<0.01),the difference was very significant.After treatment,there was a significant difference in 6MWD between the two groups(P<0.05).The total effective rate of NYHA was 54.2%in the control group and 87.2%in the treatment group.After treatment,NYHA cardiac function was significantly different between the two groups(P<0.01).3.Indicators of gastrointestinal function:GAS and MTL in the control group were significantly different before and after treatment(P<0.01).GAS and MTL in the treatment group were significantly different before and after treatment(P<0.01).After treatment,GAS and MTL were significantly different between the two groups(P<0.01).4.Indicators of TCM symptoms:chest tightness,shortness of breath,fear of cold limbs,fatigue and fatigue,edema of face and limbs,hot-like diet before and after treatment in the control group were significantly different(P<0.01);palpitation,abdominal distension and diarrhea were significantly different(P<0.05).Before and after treatment,palpitation,chest tightness,shortness of breath,abdominal distention,diarrhea,cold limbs,facial edema,hot diet and fatigue in the treatment group were significantly different(P<0.01).After treatment,there were significant differences in palpitation,abdominal distension,diarrhea,cold limbs,fatigue,facial edema and hot diet between the two groups(P<0.01),chest tightness and shortness of breath(P<0.05).The total scores of TCM symptoms before and after treatment in the control group were significantly different(P<0.01).The total scores of TCM symptoms before and after treatment in the treatment group were signifcantly different(P<0.01).After treatment,there was a significant difference between the two groups(P<0.01).There was a significant difference between the two groups in the curative effect of TCM symptoms after treatment(P<0.05).5.Minnesota quality of life indicators:the control group before and after treatment in other conditions(P<0.01),the difference is very significant;physical and emotional status(P<0.05),the difference is significant.There were significant differences in physical,emotional and other conditions before and after treatment in the treatment group(P<0.01).After treatment,there were significant differences in physical condition(P<0.01)between the two groups,but no significant differences in emotional and other conditions(P>0.05).conclusion:1.Acupoint catgut embedding can reduce BNP level,improve cardiac function and improve TCM symptoms in patients with chronic heart failure,especially can regulate the secretion level of motilin and gastrin and improve gastrointestinal motility.2.Acupoint catgut embedding can improve patients'exercise tolerance and quality of life.3.Acupoint catgut embedding is simple and easy to operate,and has the advantages of good safety and good compliance.
