Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Yiqi Shengyang Decoction in treating active spleen deficiency and dampness syndrome ulcerative colitis.Methods:A total of 60 patients with active ulcerative colitis spleen deficiency and dampness syndrome were randomly divided into Chinese medicine treatment group and western medicine control group,30 cases in each group.The Chinese nmedicine treatment group was given Yiqi Shengyang Dehumidification(200ml/time,2/day)?mesalazine granules(1g,qid)oral treatment,western medicine control group of mesalazinc granules orally(1g,qid)treatment.The two groups were treated as a course of treatment in three month.After the treatment,the colonoscopy was reviewed.The clinical efficacy,clinical remission rate,endoscopic response rate,mucosal healing rate,TCM syndrome effect and the improvement of main symptoms(abdominal pain,diarrhea,pus and bloody stools,bloating)were compared by SPSS software.The safety of the medication will be monitored?Results:The symptoms of diarrhea(86.2VS60.0%)and abdominal distension(86.7%vs 64.3%)were improved in the Chinese medicine treatment group and the western medicine control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The clinical effective rate(76.9%vs 67.9%)?clinical remission rate(46.2%vs 43.3%),endoscopic response rate(76.9%vs 66.7%),and mucosal healing rate(65.4%vs 66.7%)There was no statistical difference(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in the disappearance rate of pus and bloody stools(73.3%vs 67.9%)and abdominal pain(68.0%vs 63.0%)(P>0.05).The TCM syndromes(76.7%vs 56.7%)and the total scores of TCM symptoms were improved in both groups,but the difference between the two groups was not statistically significant(P>0.05).No adverse reactions were observed in the two groups during the treatment period.Conclusion:Yiqi Shengyang Dehumidification for the treatment of mild to moderate active spleen deficiency and dampness syndrome is safe and effective,and is superior to mesalazine oral preparation group in alleviating some symptoms.
