The Clinical Study Of Pingcuo Decoction Combined With 5-Aminolevulinic Acid Photodynamic Therapy For Moderate And Severe Acne(Phlegm And Blood Stasis Syndrome)

Objective:To explore the clinical effect of Pingcuo Decoction combined with 5-aminolevulinic acid photodynamic therapy on moderate and severe acne(phlegm and stasis syndrome).Methods:In March 2018 to January 2019 collection of 40 cases of moderately severe acne patients,randomly divided into 2 groups,the treatment group and control group(20 cases/group),the treatment group to Pingcuo Decoction internal and joint 5-aminolevulinic acid photodynamic therapy(ALA-PDT),the control group to rush to Pudilan Xiaoyan Tablets internal and joint 5-aminolevulinic acid photodynamic therapy.ALA-PDT was treated once every 2 weeks for a total of 3 times.The efficacy was determined by the comprehensive acne grading system score before treatment and after treatment for 2,4,6 and 8 weeks,and the TCM symptoms of the two groups of patients before treatment were observed and recorded.Finally,20 cases in the treatment group and 19 cases in the control group(one case withdrew automatically after 4 weeks)completed the treatment program,and SPSS22.0 statistical analysis software was used to process the data.Results:(1)At week 2,4,6 and 8.the markedly effective rates of the treatment group were 5.00%,1 5.00%,70.00%and 90.00%,respectively.Themarkedly effective rates of the control group were 0.00%,21.05%.42.11%and 73.68%,respectively.The results showed that the healing rate of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group after the eighth weeks of treatment,but the dif-ference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).(2)At week 6 and 8,the improvement of acne comprehensive grading system score in the treatment group was better than that in the control group,and P<0.05,the treatment group had a better effect on the improvement of skin lesions;(3)Both groups showed improvement in symptoms of dry mouth,urine and stool,and the improvement effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).(4)In the ALA-PDT treatment,most of the patients with local feel hot,a few patients with light degree of tingling,but all can tolerate.After the light,the face are different degree of erythema,mild generally do not need special treatment.Those with obvious erythema can be relieved by spraying face with cold spray machine or wet application with cold boiled water and mineral water,the erythema can be alleviated and can fade in 2 to 3 days,1 case of patients during treatment in reactive acne.In the treatment group,after taking traditional Chinese medicine decoction,there were 2 patients with stomach discomfort and 1 patient with mild diarrhea,both of which were tolerable.No other serious adverse reactions were observed.Conclusion:For patients with moderate to severe acne(phlegm and blood stasis syndrome),Pingcuo decoction combined with 5-aminolevulinic acid photodynamic therapy is an excellent treatment with rapid onset,good efficacy and high safety,and it is worth popularizing in clinical practice.
