Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Hypertensive Carotid Atherosclerosis By Tonifying Kidney And Cooling Blood

Objective:in this study,"tonifying the kidney and cooling the blood"method combined with conventional western medicine was used to treat patients with primary hypertension and carotid atherosclerosis syndrome of Yin deficiency and blood stasis,and a comparison was made between Chinese and western medicine groups and western medicine groups to observe the clinical effcect of tonifying the kidney and cooling the blood method in the treatment of carotid atherosclerosis.It provides a reference for the differentiation and treatment of TCM from Yin deficiency and heat of blood stasis,and provides a clinical theoretical basis for the prevention and treatment of atherosclerosis(AS)with the combination of Chinese and western medicine.Methods:101 patients with primary hypertensive atherosclerosis conforming to Yin deficiency and blood stasis heat syndrome were randomly divided into 3 groups.There were 34 cases in the traditional Chinese medicine group,34 cases in the traditional Chinese and western medicine group,and 33 cases in the western medicine group.The TCM group was treated with liuwei dibuang pill,ginkgo honey ring oral liquid and xuezhikang capsule combined with western medicine.In the group of Chinese and western medicine,liuwei dihuang pill +ginkgo honey ring oral liquid+atorvastatin calcium tablets combined with basic western medicine were used for treatment.The western medicine group was treated with atorvastatin calcium tablets combined with basic western medicine.By observing the changes of TCM syndrome points,carotid ultrasound results,blood lipids,liver and kidney function and kinase of the three groups before and after treatment,the differences of the three groups were analyzed to preliminarily evaluate the clinical effect of traditional Chinese medicine treatment of carotid atherosclerosis with"tonifying kidney and cooling blood".Results:after treatment,the clinical symptoms,carotid ultrasound,blood lipid and other aspects of the patients in the three groups were improved,in which the Chinese medicine group was similar to the Chinese and western group,and all were better than the western medicine group(P<0.05).Compared with the safety indicators(liver and kidney function,kinase,etc.),there was no obvious abnormality before and after treatment in the three groups.Conclusion:kidney-tonifying and blood-cooling method combined with conventional western medicine can better improve the clinical symptoms and clinical indicators(IMT,carotid plaque area,blood lipid level)of patients with primary hypertension and carotid atherosclerosis,and no obvious abnormalities in safety indicators(liver and kidney function,kinase).This indicates that the traditional Chinese medicine"tonifying the kidney and cooling the blood"method has good clinical efficacy and safety in the treatment of primary hypertension and carotid atherosclerosis syndrome.
