Autism spectrum disorder is a kind of generalized developmental disorder,which is manifested in the following three aspects,namely,social communication and communication disorder and stereotyped repetitive behavior.Among them,the social communication disorder of children with asd is the culprit that hinders students' smooth adaptation to social life.Therefore,for the "small society" of school,how to help children with autism spectrum disorder improve the learning of social communication skills becomes more important.Peer communication disorder is the core problem that children with autism spectrum disorder must face in social communication.Effectively improving the skills of peer communication of children with autism will greatly promote their physical and mental development and whether they can successfully integrate into social life in the future.In this study,a 10-year-old child with autism spectrum disorder who used reversal design was selected as a case to discuss the effect of video demonstration combined with social storytelling,a relatively novel intervention method,on improving the peer communication skills of children with autism spectrum disorder.By recording and video case level requirements conform the school situation,supplemented by the interpretation of the story and video scene consistent society understand the video content,guide the participants were the use of the language acquisition including(say hello,say thank you),and the three goals behavior of inviting peers to play badminton,help and guide the autism spectrum disorder children develop appropriate timely peer interaction behavior,improve their communication skills with partner.After eight weeks of intervention training,the researcher combined qualitative description and quantitative analysis of the data and observed the changes of the subjects before and after the intervention,and drew the following conclusions:(1)Video modeling can effectively improve the autistic children's ability of peer interaction at school;(2)The target behavior in demonstration video can be generalized to other situations in children's life.The more similar scenario in the video,the better effect will get.But it is also connected with children's personal interest closely.There are differences between different target behavior effect.(3)Video demonstration method has obvious advantages to compare with other intervention in autistic children peer interaction,but it will be more effective if can combine with other interventions such as reinforcers and social storyboards works.
