Objective:To study psychological assessment and postoperative satisfaction of patients undergoing blepharoplasty in a plastic surgery hospital in Yanji,Jilin Province.It aims at demonstrating the psychological status among the group of patients undergoing blepharoplasty in order to improve postoperative satisfaction.Methods:In an orthopedic hospital,116 patients who underwent periocular plastic surgery were investigated with the symptom self-assessment scale(SCL-90).Record the basic information of the study subjects.Postoperative patients adopt satisfaction questionnaire(1 month and 3 months).Study the psychological assessment and postoperative satisfaction of patients undergoing periocular plastic surgery.Results:(1)According to the SCL-90 scoring standard,there was no significant difference in the positive screening rate in the two groups(P>0.05).(2)Among all the subjects,the somatization,force symptom,interpersonal sensitivity,depression,anxiety,hostility,terror and psychotic nine factors of patients aged 20 to 30 were lower than the general population.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the depression factor scores in the lower age group were not significantly different from those in the general population(P>0.05).However,the subjects with age ?30 years old had only the depression factor lower than the general population,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(3)Undergoing blepharoplasty,the results of SCL-90 factor scores in the patient satisfaction group were compared with the unsatisfied group,in the somatization,force symptom,interpersonal sensitivity,depression,anxiety,hostility,terror and psychotic nine factors,there was no significant difference between the groups(P>0.05).(4)Undergoing blepharoplasty,the somatization,force symptom,interpersonal sensitivity,depression,anxiety,hostility,terror and psychotic nine factors were lower than them(P<0.05).(5)Undergoing blepharoplasty,the somatization,interpersonal sensitivity,depression,terror and psychotic factors of the patients who were unsatisfied were lower than the general population,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(6)Compared with patients who underwent double-upper-eyelid operation and correction of epicanthus,patients only with double-upper-eyelid operation had no statistically significant differences in satisfaction with patients or doctors at different times(P>0.05).Conclusion:(1)According to the SCL-90 scoring standard,there was no significant difference in the positive screening rate in two groups.(2)After blepharoplasty,there was no significant difference in nine factors or others between the patients in the satisfactory group and the unsatisfactory group.(3)Undergoing blepharoplasty,the results of SCL-90 factors in the patient satisfaction group were lower than the general population.(4)Undergoing blepharoplasty,the scores of somatization,interpersonal sensitivity,depression,terror and psychotic factors in the SCL-90 factor scores of patients in unsatisfied were lower than the general population.
