ObjectiveThis study aims to investigate depression in cancer patients, therelationship between anxiety and physical function status and therelationship between the symptoms of discomfort and depression andanxiety symptoms and quality of life among cancer patients, as well asevaluation of music therapy to improve patient anxiety, depressivesymptoms and life quality of research results.MethodsThis topic is selected in Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province, a tertiarylevel hospital100cases of oncology patients were randomly dividedinto experimental group and control group, each with50cases. Theissue queries through literature, experimental intervention method,implemented questionnaires, statistical analysis of the data subject.Stochastic approach is numbered100patients, with a digital meterrandomly assigned to each group. The experimental group receivedmusic therapy and usual care; control group received routine care,do not accept any music therapy. Before the implementation of thisproject first with the patient health questionnaire, patient healthDepression Scale, generalized anxiety scale, the quality of life ofcancer patients rating scale for patients with psychosomatic symptoms,physical function, symptoms and quality of life of patients evaluated, and cancer psychosomatic symptoms and physical function in patientswith symptoms were psychosomatic symptoms and quality of life ofpatients and patients with related research, after the implementationof music therapy, music therapy evaluation anxiety, depressivesymptoms and quality of life of cancer patients results in patients.When the application SPSS19.0statistical analysis of the dataobtained during the experiment were analyzed using descriptivestatistics main analysis, analysis of variance method.ResultsThe results showed that anxiety symptoms in cancer patientsphysical function discomfort severity of symptoms and the patient waspositively correlated (r=0.41, P=0.001) with both depressivesymptoms was also positively correlated(r=0.56, P=0.002); negativecorrelation between depressive symptoms in cancer patients and theirquality of life(r=-0.21, P=0.000), while cancer patients betweenanxiety symptoms and their quality of life is also a negative correlation(r=-0.25, P=0.000); after music therapy implemented. The resultsshowed that the experimental group were anxiety, depressivesymptoms were relieved significantly improved quality of life, thedifference was statistically significant(P=0.000), but the differencebetween these indicators before and after the experimental controlgroup was not statistically significant.ConclusionsCancer patients psychological anxiety, depressive symptoms andphysical function in patients with uncomfortable symptoms, but alsowith the quality of life for patients about; music therapy can alleviatethe psychological cancer patients have anxiety, depression symptomsand improve the quality of life of cancer patients, as an adjuvanttherapy for clinical application.
