Clinical Significance Of TUBB3 Expression In Gastric Cancer Tissue

Objective:To investigate the significance of TUBB3 expression in progression and prognosis of gastric cancer,explore the value of TUBB3 detection in gastric cancer patients.Methods:Clinical characters(gender and age),pathological parameters(location of tumor,tumor size,differentiation grade,lymphovascular invasion,pT stage,pN stage,pM stage,pTNM stage)and expression level of TUBB3 in tumor of 528 gastric cancer patients who were hospitalized and received surgery treatment in the second hospital of Dalian Medical University,Gastrointestinal surgery Department,during January 2015 to October 2018,were participated in a retrospective analysis.With utilize of statistic software SPSS 20.0,analyse the relationship between TUBB3 expression level and other variables with method of Nonparametric Rank Sum test.Then,regard pT,pN,pM and pTNM stage as dependent variables respectively,other relative factors as independent variables,conduct multivariate Logistic regression analysis.Figure out the influence of TUBB3 expression level on pT,pN,pM and pTNM stage in gastric cancer patients,as the influence of other factors on dependent variables controlled.Result:(1)Nonparametric Rank Sum test result:TUBB3 expression level are equally distributed in different classification of age,location of tumor,tumor size,differentiation grade,pT stage(p>0.05),but are unequally distributed in different classification of gender,lymphovascular invasion,pN stage,pM stage,pTNM stage.(2)Multivariate ordinal Logistic regression were used in the correlation analysis between pT stage of gastric cancer patients and relative factors,result:tumor size?4cm,poor differentiation,lymphovascular invasion are independent risk factors of late pTstage,compare with distal 2/3,patients with tumor located in proximal 1/3 stomach are more likely to possess late pT stage(p<0.05),whereas other factors including TUBB3 expression level are not correlated with pT stage(p>0.05).(3)Multivariate ordinal Logistic regression were used in the correlation analysis between pN stage of gastric cancer patients and relative factors,result:tumor size?4cm,lymphovascular invasion,late pT stage are independent risk factors of late pN stage(p<0.05),whereas other factors including TUBB3 expression level are not(p>0.05).(4)Multivariate binary Logistic regression were used in the correlation analysis between pM stage of gastric cancer patients and relative factors,result:better differentiation,late pN stage,high expression of TUBB3 are independent risk factors of distant metastasis in gastric cancer patients(p<0.05),whereas other factors are not(p>0.05).(5)Multivariate ordinal Logistic regression were used in the correlation analysis between pTNM stage of gastric cancer patients and relative factors,result:tumor size?4cm,lymphovascular invasion,high expression of TUBB3 are independent risk factors of late pTNM stage(p<0.05),whereas other factors are not(p>0.05).Conclusion:High expression of TUBB3 in gastric cancer patients prompt high possibility of distant metastasis and late pTNM stage in gastric cancer patients,there are potential value of TUBB3 detection in diagnose and treatment of gastric cancer,TUBB3 maybe a prognostic factor of gastric cancer in future.
