The purpose:To explore the understanding of chronic sinusitis in traditional Chinese medicine,to treat the clinical research of chronic rhinosinusitis with spleen and stomach dampness and heat by self-made Biyankang formula granules, and to observe the clinical efficacy of the traditional Chinese medicine preparation in treating such patients, including subjective symptoms, signs and intranasal The results of the microscopic examination were used to further evaluate the efficacy and safety of the preparation, and to explore its mechanism of action in the treatment of chronic sinusitis, thus providing a valuable basis for clinical application. The method:According to the criteria of case inclusion and exclusion,60 patients of chronic rhinosinusitis with spleen-stomach damp-heat were planned to be collected in Zhangjiagang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from the period of May 2018 to January 2019.They were divided into two groups(30 cases in the Chinese medicine treatment group and the western medicine control group). The control group was treated with conventional Western medicine treatment,2 time/day,7 days for 1 course, and 2 courses of continuous medication. The treatment group used internal self-made rhinitis formula granules,1 dose/day,300 ml of water was taken twice in the morning and evening,7 days was a course of treatment, and 2 courses of medication were continued.Subjective symptoms, signs, nasal endoscopy results and adverse reactions were evaluated before and after treatment. All data were analyzed with SPSS 24.0 software. The results:Statistical analysis shows that both the treatment group and the control group have curative effect on CRS patients with spleen-stomach dampness-heat syndrome. The general data, visual analogue score and TCM syndromes of the two groups before treatment were comparable(P>0.05).Statistical analysis showed that there were significant differences in nasal obstruction, secretions, main symptoms, minor symptoms, combined symptoms and total scores between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.05),indicating that the two groups could effectively alleviate the above symptoms. There was no significant difference in nasal obstruction, secretions, main symptoms, minor symptoms and total scores between the treatment group and the control group 7 days and 14 days after treatment(P>0.05),indicating that there was no difference in the clinical efficacy of nasal obstruction, secretions, main symptoms and minor symptoms between the two groups. There was a significant difference in the total score of concurrent symptoms between the treatment group and the control group after 7 and 14 days of treatment(P<0.05),which indicated that the treatment group could relieve concurrent symptoms more effectively than the control group. There was no significant difference between the treatment group and the control group in the overall therapeutic effect after 14 days of treatment.(P>0.05).The conclusion:The results of this study showed that the self-made Biyankang formula granule group and the conventional western medicine treatment group(Clarithromycin Sustained Release Tablets combined with Eucalyptol Limonene and Pinene Enteric Soft Capsules)had clinical effects on the relief of clinical symptoms of chronic rhinosinusitis with Damp-heat Syndrome of spleen and stomach, and there was no significant difference in the overall efficacy between the two groups(P>0.05).However,the self-made Biyankang formula granule was superior to the conventional western medicine treatment group in alleviating the spleen and Stomach Damp-Heat symptoms such as fever, fatigue, chest tightness and urine yellow-red(P<0.05).
