objective: To investigate the current status of Subjective well-being(SWB)of stroke patients in Chengdu communities,to explore the main influencing factors of SWB,to provide reference for measures that improve physical and mental health for communities' stroke patients and to establish a basis for further interventional research. Methods: Using cluster sampling, from January 2018 to August 2018,36 communities in Chengdu was randomly selected. With the assistance of the staff in the community health service center, the stroke patients who went to the community hospital or participated in the community health propaganda and education were informed about the purpose and significance of this investigation. After obtaining the consent of them and their family, the face-to-face interview questionnaires was performed. The questionnaires included the General Situation Table,The Memorial University of Newfoundland Scale of Happiness(MUNSH),the Social Support Rating Scale(SSRS),and the Modified Barthel Index(MBI).Fugl-Meyer Assessment(FMA),Berg Balance Scale(BBS).The database was performed by EpiData3.1 medical statistical software and was analysised by SPSS 21.0 software.Normally distributed data was analysised by T-Test and one way ANOVA test, and Non-normally distributed data analysised by Wilcoxon Rank Sum Test and Kruskal-Wallis H Test. Finally, multiple linear regression analysis was used for multivariate analysis,P < 0.05 was statistically significant. Results: 762 qualified sample data were collected, and the average age of the patients was 69.51±12.59 years old, including 454 cases(59.6%)with cerebral infarction,308 cases(40.4%)with cerebral hemorrhage.SWB score was32.00±11.60,positive.Emotion 6.16±2.59,negative emotions 2.80±3.06,positive experience 8.65±3.67,negative experience 3.95±4.00 points, and patients at the low and medium SWB levels accounted for 48.0%,which was generally at a low level. The Social Support Score was 32.86±7.67,which positive correlated with SWB(r=0.289,P<0.01).The results of single factor analysis show: SWB scores were statistically significant in stroke patients of different genders, ages, marital status, education level, residence status, monthly income, sleep time, social participation, activities of daily living, balance function, limb function and social support(P< 0.05);Patients with high monthly income, long sleep time, better activities of daily living, better balance function, better limb function and high social support enjoy higher SWB scores; However, the patients that were sex-female,non-spouse,self-lived,illiterate,non-social and non-hobby with lower SWB scores; The different diagnoses of stroke were not statistically significant(P>0.05).Multivariate analysis showed that sleep time, monthly income, activities of daily living, balance function, limb function, social support, and living conditions were independently correlated factors of SWB in community stroke patients(P<0.05).conclusion:(1).The SWB of stroke patients in Chengdu communities was low, which needed improvement.(2).High monthly income, long sleep time, active participation in social activities, hobbies, high social support, good balancefunction, physical function and activities of daily living were the protective factors of SWB.Illiteracy and living alone were independent risk factors of SWB.Gender, age, diagnosis, and marital status had poor predictive effects on SWB.(3).The order of influence Factors that affected SWB of stroke patients in Chengdu communities were: sleep time, monthly income,BBS score,FMA score,BMI score,SSRS score, hobbies, social participation, education level, and residence.
