Objective:To investigate the pathophysiological changes and gastric emptying of perinatal women,to explore the effects of preoperative fasting on perinatal women and neonates,to explore the risk factors of neonatal hypoglycemia and to find the measures of prevent neonatal hypoglycemia. Methods: A total of 90 patients who underwent elective cesarean section in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the Fifth Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University from February 2018 to September 2018 was randomly divided into three groups.General information was registered and three groups of patients implemented threedifferent programs offasting.Group A performed traditional methods for pre-fasting,fasting and banned drinking after midnight;Group B was fasted after midnight, oral intake 250 ml of water 3 hours before surgery;Group C was fasted after midnight, and oral intake 250 ml of 10% glucose 3 hours before surgery. To measure the maternal blood glucose when pregnant woman into the operation room, neonatal umbilical vein blood glucose within 30 min of birth, newborn blood glucose test 120 min after birth,to analyze three groups of maternal and neonatal blood glucose, and to score maternal preoperative anxiety and thirst, and to assess vomiting and aspiration occur duringoperation. Results: Compared with the general data, there were no statistical difference between the three groups(P>0.05).The maternal blood glucose, neonatal 30 min blood glucose, and neonatal 2 h blood glucose in group C was higher than those in group A and B.The differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There were no significant difference in maternal blood glucose, neonatal 30 min blood glucose, and neonatal 2 h blood glucose between the two groups(P>0.05).B,C group maternalhunger, thirst, etc.was significantly lower than group A.There were statistical differences in the thirst of group A(7.38±0.98)compared with group B(6.01±0.55)(t=6.673,P<0.001)and group C(5.96±0.73)(t=6.362,P<0.001).The anxiety decreased significantly in group C(4.27±0.73)compared with group A(6.52±0.34)(t=15.395,P<0.001);also significantly reduced compared with group B(5.75±0.31)(t=12.263,P<0.001),and no case of reflux aspiration. Conclusion:Oral administration of water and 10% glucose solution3 hours before surgery, can reduce the prenatal anxiety, thirst and otheradverse reactions, without increasing serious adverse reactions such as reflux and aspiration during surgery,10%glucose reduces maternal and Neonatal hypoglycemia.
