Objective:To observe the difference of adverse reactions in acute phase of postmenopausal osteoporosis patients treated with zoledronic acid by oral administration of preventive Chinese medicine in intervention group, and to explore the preventive and Alleviative Effects of oral intervention of preventive Chinese medicine on adverse reactions in acute phase of postmenopausal osteoporosis. Methods: Sixty-six postmenopausal osteoporosis patients were enrolled in the first orthopaedic department of the Fourth Clinical Medical College of Xinjiang Medical University. They were randomly divided into the Chaige Jieji Decoction oral intervention group and the control group after zoledronic acid administration(no other drugs were given after the subjects were given zoledronic acid).Observe and record the fever cases, calculate the fever rate, systemic and local adverse reactions and other indicators of the two groups, and then integrate the relevant data into statistical analysis. Results: Eleven of the two groups were exfoliated.Statistics:(1)There was no significant difference in fever rate between the intervention group and the control group(P > 0.05).(2)The VAS score of muscle and joint pain had statistical significance(P < 0.05).(3)The total scores of fever,no sweat or hypohidrosis, nasal obstruction, runny nose, itching or pain of pharynx and head and body in the intervention group were lower than those in the control group(P < 0.05),with statistical significance.Among them, the symptoms of no sweat or hypohidrosis, itching or pain of pharynx and head and body were significantly improved than those of the control group(P< 0.05),with statistical significance;the symptoms of fever and nasal obstruction and runny nose were not significantly improved compared with those of the control group(P >0.05),with no statistical significance.(4)There was no significant difference in safety index between the two groups(P > 0.05).Conclusion:Chaige Jieji Decoction can prevent and alleviate the adverse reactions of zoledronic acid in the treatment of acute postmenopausal osteoporosis, which deserves further study in clinic.
