| Objective:To study the efficacy and safety of Flavored ZuoGuiyin in the treatment of Ischemic Stroke with deficiency of liver-yin and kidney-yin,and to discus the possible mechanism of its action.MethodsrA randomized controlled study was conducted to select 70 patients with deficiency of liver and kidney in convalescent stage of ischemic stroke.They were randomly divided into two groups:the experimental group(n=35)and the control group(n=35).The control group was treated with routine western medicine for 4 weeks.The changes of related indexes were recorded before and after the treatment.The statistical analysis was carried out and the therapeutic effects between the two groups were observed and compared.Results:The total effective rate of clinical function in the experimental group was 94.2%,which was better than that in the control group(80%).After treatment,the scores of TCM syndromes,neurological deficits and activities of daily living(ADL)were improved,and the difference between the two groups was significant(P<0.05).The experimental group was superior to the control group.Low density 1 ipoprotcin cholcsterol(LDL-C),fasting blood glucose,glycosylated hemoglobin and scrum malondialdehydc(MDA)levcels in the trial group were significantly decreased,while the conlenl of superoxide dismutase(SOD)was significantly increased.The improvement in the trial group was significantly better than that in the control group.Conclusion:The results showed that Flavored Zuoguiyin could improve nerve function defect of patients with liver and kidney yin deficiency ischemic apoplexy in convalescent stage,and the curative effect was better than that of western medicine alone,and there was no adverse reaction in the course of treatment.It has better safety. |
