Evidence-Based Analysis On The Rule Of Acupoint Selection And Prescription And Their Relationship With Curative Effect For Acupuncture Treatment Of Migraine

Objective:Through consulting the relevant clinical literature of acupuncture treatment for migraine in the last 20 years,carry on statistical analysis about the acupoints selection,prescription,and curative effect of acupuncture treatment of migraine,sum up the frequency of using the points,tropism,compatibility relationship between acupoints,and the relationship between the number of acupoints and the curative effect about acupuncture treatment of migraine in recent years,discuss the rules of acupoints selection and compatibility,and their relevant theoretical basis with acupuncture treatment of migrainesum,analyze the connection between acupoint number and curative effect,further enriching and perfecting the theoretical system of acupuncture treatment of migraine,to provide an objective basis for the rational use of acupuncture in the migraine treatment.Methods:Searching from the Chinese periodical full text database,Chinese periodical full text database of Science and technology,Wan-fang database published and collected on acupuncture treatment of migraine in the clinical research literature from 1996 to 2015,using data mining software-Clementine12.0 and SPSS17.0 to analyze the rules of acupoint selection and prescription compatibility,the relationship between points' number and clinical efficacy on clinicians using acupuncture treatment for migraine in recent years.Result:Among included literatures,the top 4 acupoints on using frequency are Fengchi,Taiyang,Shuaigu.There are 14 different meridians involved.The top four selected meridians on using frequency are Gallbladder Meridian,Triple Meridian,Governor Meridian and Stomach Meridian.Analysis from frequency and quantity of points,Gallbladder Meridian is in the first place.In all prescriptions,the quantity of 6-acupoint group takes up the first place.The higher acupoints combination association degree:Fengchi,Taiyang;Fengch,Taiyang,Shuaigui;Fengchi,Baihui;Fengchi,Touwei;Fengch-i,Taiyang,Touwei.The curative effect does not increase with the increase of the number of acupoints.There is no statistic difference in the curative effect between minority accupoint group(less than or equal to 4)and multi-accupiont group(more than 4).Conclusion:The most commonly used acupoints are Fengchi,Taiyang,Shuaigu for acupuncture treatment of migraine.The most commonly used Meridians are Gallbladder Meridian,Triple Meridian,Governor Meridian and Stomach Meridian.Acupoint nunber of acupuncture treatment for migraine is not the more the better.Prescription recommendation:Using the minority accupoint group(less than or equal to 4)-2 group-Fengchi+Taiyang/Touwei/Baihui,3 point group-Fengchi+Taiyang+Shuaigu/Touwei/ Baihui,4 point group-Fengchi+Shuaigu+Taiyang+Touwei/Baihui/Hegu.The above point groups are only for reference,the combination acupoints can be added and reduced according to the specific circumstances.
