Pathogenesis Investigation Of Insomnia With Qi Depression And Phlegm Stagnation And Timidity With Cardiac Asthenia And Clinical Curative Effect

Objective: Through the pathogenesis investigation of insomnia with qi depression and phlegm stagnation and timidity with cardiac asthenia,we observed Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)scale scores and clinical symptoms of Chinese medicine changes of patients' insomnia with qi depression and phlegm stagnation and timidity with cardiac asthenia after the treatment of sit back and relax medicine and alprazolam tablets.We also evaluated feasibility and effectiveness of Gaozhenwuyou Decoction in the treatment of this type of insomnia.Methods: We randomly assigned 70 patients with qi depression and phlegm stagnation and timidity with cardiac asthenia to two groups;35 in the treatment group were treated with Gaozhenwuyou Decoction+ alprazolam tablets;35 in the control group were treated with alprazolam tablets.Patients in both groups were treated for 30 days.The change of score of PSQI(PSQI)and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score scale was recorded before and after treatment.Results: 1.After 30 days of treatment,the PSQI of both groups were improved.The treatment group showed 65.70% and the total effective rate was 91.42% in treatment group.The control group showed 37.14% and the total effective rate was 68.58% in control group.Improvement in the symptoms of insomnia in treatment group was better than that in the control group(P<0.01).2.After treatment for 30 days,the two groups were compared with traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score scale.The treatment group showed a significant rate of 62.85% and a total effective rate of 94.28%.The control group showed a markedly effective rate of 18.51% and a total effective rate of 85.71%.The effect on improvement of the clinical symptoms of Chinese medicine in treatment group was significantly better than that in the control group(P<0.01).3.Improvement rate of the treatment group in dreaminess and light sleep,palpitations,spontaneous perspiration,heaviness sensation in the limbs and lacking in strength(P<0.05)was better than that in the control group.Conclusion: Gaozhenwuyou Decoction has significant effect in improving insomnia symptoms of patients with qi depression and phlegm stagnation and timidity with cardiac asthenia as well as the aspect of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome.
