Clinical Observation Of Penyanxiao Recipe In Treating Sepsis Of Pelvic Inflammatory Disease Of Qi-stagnation And Blood-stasis Type And Its Effect On Serum IL-8 And IL-10

Objective: To investigate the therapeutic effect of Penyanxiao Recipe on the sequelae of pelvic inflammatory disease of qi stagnation and blood stasis type,and to evaluate its effect on symptoms,signs,hemorheology and cytokines IL-8 and IL-10 in patients with qi stagnation and blood stasis.Methods: A total of 60 patients with sequelae of pelvic inflammatory diseases with qi stagnation and blood stasis were observed and given Oral treatment with traditional Chinese medicine,PanyanXiaofang.The clinical symptoms and scores before and after treatment were compared,and the changes of peripheral blood rheology and levels of cytokines IL-8 and IL-10 before and after treatment were observed.Results: After a course of treatment,the clinical cure rate was 20.00%,and the overall effective rate was 98.33%.There was a significant difference between the TCM symptoms and signs scores before and after treatment(p<0.01).The hemorheology index after treatment was significantly improved compared with before(p<0.01);the level of cytokine IL-8 was lower than before treatment,and the level of IL-10 was higher than before treatment,which was statistically significant(p<0.05).Conclusion: Pang Yan Xiao Fang is an effective prescription for the treatment of qi stagnation and blood stasis pelvic inflammatory disease sequelae.Its mechanism of action is related to the reduction of blood viscosity and pro-inflammatory factor levels and elevation of the level of anti-inflammatory cytokines.
